Buri Rasa Village Resort & Spa was created by an award winning architect, featuring traditional Thai wooden houses in an enchanting village atmosphere. Spacious guest rooms are an elegant blend of contemporary and classic elements, dispersed among tropical gardens. Attention to detail and traditional style give the resort a unique old village charm within relaxed luxury.
The Buri Rasa Village Resort & Spa is also located on Chaweng Beach and has many different room types. There are Deluxe rooms with and without bathtub, Deluxe Garden Courts with and without dip pools, a Deluxe Studio and 2 Rasa Suites. Overall the resort is very natural with vegetation being plentiful. The rooms themselves are nicely decorated in a classical Thai style. The resort also has a restaurant, spa and swimming pool with Jacuzzi. With a nice beach in front of the resort this is a good choice if you want to be close to the heart of Chaweng.

Rated #10 for all Koh Samui hotels
The seaview suite was ideal, beautiful views over the ocean, large balconies to relax on, impressive whirlpool bath and a huge, comfortable bed. Wifi internet access from the room was useful, food was great, spa very high quality and service impeccable. I think what distinguished this hotel from the other 4 I've stayed in on Koh Samui was the staff - genuinely friendly, efficient, unobtrusive and professional. In 15 years of travelling in Asia the Buri Rasa was certainly one of my best hotel experiences....

We just spent 1 night at BuriRasa. The hotel is wonderful. The location is great, chaweng beach is a few steps away from the hotel, the chaweng street is on the other side of the hotel. The service is very good, we had booked airport pickup online, when we got into Samui airport, the guy is waiting for us holding a palte with my husband's name on it. The room is small but comfortable enough.

I cannot rate the staff highly enough, nothing is too much trouble for them and if you experience any problems they will be dealt with immediately to your complete satisfaction.
All the staff are friendly and greet you every time you meet any of them and they are able to speak enogh English to be able to understand any requests.
The beach is adjacent to the bar and restaurant, and is fairly clean and you are not pestered too much by the beach sellers. There are comfortable sun loungers and the area is attended most efficiently, again by the most friendly staff.
The layout of the 'village' is excellent and you meander through beautifully kept bush and tree lined pathway between the accommodation which is in detatched 'houses, and you will have either the upstairs or downstairs in its entirety probably with your own front gate and small garden !! Ideal foe relaxing before your evening meal with a drink outside your sliding conservatory door entrance . This is all tastefuly illuminated at night and gives a homely feel to the resort.
There are many restaurants close at hand , some more expensive that others, but most giving good value and good Thai cooking !
The Resort makes much of its restaurant, but it was, for us, a little over rated.... sorry, but thats how we felt !! My partner is Thai and therfore critical of Thai cooking, and we did find some much better examples of the art elsewhere.
Do go and stay there !! We will again... and dont be put off by the vehicula

The staff is very polite and helpful, and the hotel itself is new and very clean. The rooms are comfortable with a nice relxaing living area including a tv, dvd player and air conditioning. The buffet breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had and is served in the open air restaurant next to the beach and pool. All in all the Buri Rasa was a good experience and we would definitely stay again.

the hotel was beautiful--the staff in all areas excellent and very professional and friendly--the location was great--you feel very secluded in the beautiful tropical hotel and private beach area, but if you wanted to, you could just step outside the hotel and find yourself in the middle of a bustling street with many other choices for restaurants/bars/clubs, etc. the only thing we thought that could have improved was the selection and choice and breakfast--the food they did have was excellent and good quality, but the selection and choice could have been better. We felt the room rate was a bit pricy for the size and amenities, but it was lovely and beautiful and we enjoyed our time very much and would definitley return.

Fantastic resort in a beautiful garden setting. Very friendly staff who accommodated each and every request we had. The size of the resort guarantees personal service. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise being freshly prepared each day as per our selection. Although the pool is smaller than other resorts, it is very adequate and there is also the beach and sea a few steps away which is very convenient. We also preferred the beach area at this end of Chaweng compared to the north. Overall, a more boutique resort which is ideal for couples - a lovely romantic getaway. Can't wait to return.

Wonderful location, extremely nice, romantic environement, excellent service, amazing staff kindness. A great hotel!!! Definitely an optimal choice if you prefer an intimate and cozy -- albeit sophisticated -- atmosphere rather than the luxury of some other big hotels
