we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the room was very close to the beach and was very clean, The bathroom was big enough but the shower was poor and of cheap quality, the room we stayed in was 414 and next to it was the kitchen from eat sence which could be noisy some times, the bed room was small with just enough wardrobe space, the air con was very noisy so take some ear plugs to get any sleep, overall we were very satisfied with the hotel and it had well kept gardens and was in the best position of all the beach in chewang, the hotel spa is on the beach in a concrete bunker, its not very nice in there and smells damp and musty, also the treatments are very poor but then again not expensive compared with some spas we have stayed at before in thailand, the breakfast was ample but repetitive so after ten nights stay it got boring.

Clean beach and splended massage center,one of the best looking on the beach-and one of the thing that are very cheep.
Prices on this Resort has increased to much the last year.Prices on food and drink is dobbeled in one year.This is one of very few negativ things besides missing a small fitness center.
We did not find better food outside the hotell(but cheeper).
We can deffenately reqemend a stay at Banana Fan Sea !

we, 4 people, stayed in the Banana Fan Sea Resort,Koh Samui. We booked 2 Deluxe-Bungalows via HotelTravel.com. Since we arrived in the early morning, our rooms were not available for check-in, a staff named Gai arranged us to stay in a rest room, with bed and sofas. He said they might not be able to arrnage 2 bungalows close to each other for us(far apart), so he promised to upgrade 1 of our bungalows. Finally, after a few hours sleep in the rest room, Gai approached us and gave us a good news, he discussed with the resort manager and upgraded both our bungalows from "Deluxe type" to "beachfront-deluxe Type" !! And they were just 2 bungalows' distance away from each. We really appreciated with the courtesy offered by this resort. The rooms are high quality, the environment and the decoration of the resort are nice, staff are friendly. Excellent experience!!! Can't believe it's just a 3-stars resort!!

This hotel should get at least a 4 star rating. It is one of the top tier hotels in Chaweng Beach in terms of hotel atmosphere and best location in terms of the cleanest beach segment (i.e. water) of Chaweng Beach.

I was mostly pleased with Banana Fan's environment and services. The beach is beautiful. The location is convenient. The staff are friendly. Two minor things tinted its otherwise excellent performances though. First, after checked in, I asked to have the twin beds in my room put together. It was about 5 p.m. They said it would be done the following day. I believed they could not do that sooner but OK, I did not mind for one night. I stayed there 3 days. They just forgot what I asked for. Second, my wife left her necklace in a spa booked through Banana Fan. We expected the hotel to help contacting the spa to get back the necklace. Their follow up was very passive. Worst, one of the reception staff said it was not their responsibility and had me paid her for making calls to the spa. Finally the necklace was recovered after 2 days' chasing. It almost ruined my vacation.
