This middle class hotel distinguishes itself by the colour settings used in the rooms which are very colourful and bright. The resort also has a nice intimate feeling to it. The children’s friendly swimming pool, a spa and library also make this resort suitable for families.

I had great hopes for this hotel since we've stayed at their sister hotel, Patong beach hotel, two times and that's an excellent hotel. Baan Samui does not reach the same standard. The rooms smells awful, like mould or sewage even though they are very clean (have noting to complain about regarding the cleaning service, it was excellent), the pool side restaurant serves tasteless food and are really expensive when it comes to fruit shakes, beer and water. However the staff is over all extremly nice and eager to serve you. It would have been a far more pleasent stay if the hotel guests didn't get up at 8 in the morning to reserve sun chairs. This is a common problem no matter where you stay but this - I've never seen anything like it. If the hotel have had someone to maintain all this it may not have been such a problem. On the other hand grown people should know better but I guess it isn't the first time it proves how selfish people can be. When trying to get a sun chair by 9 in the morning you had to bee very lucky. The people who got up early to reserve the chairs often didn't use them until several hours later. Learn to share!!!!
