The beach was 800m from the hotel. You could walk to restaurants, 7 Eleven's, etc. Rooms were great, very modern and clean. Plenty of staff to help and they were very friendly. Had a shuttle bus also. We thought it was a great hotel....

The hotel is great is only disappointing thing is the location of the hotel. It would make more sense to have more shuttle buses going to chewang.

I think the pictures and internet site are doctored up with Photoshop. The face of the hotel is not a pristine white. It's a run-down building. However, the inside is remodeled nicely, and my room looked pretty close to the pictures. At the same time, they really overdid it, made it look like you were getting this great deal for a real posh-posh place - at least, that's what I thought. I was under the impression I was getting a 4-5 star hotel with all amenities. It is more like a 3-star hotel that's better than a Motel 6 or Best Western. Basically, if you are looking for a polished up Motel 6, it's good if you can get an economy price. I would call the hotel and bargain down the rack rates. I think I paid way more than what I got for it. I was not happy for this reason. But the staff were excellent, the amenities great, a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. After being there a couple days, I found out how I had been had! Other places were offering much better deals. I did leave the hotel early, and this website gave me a partial refund even though their policy stated they would not refund during the time I canceled. I thought that was swell considering I thought I overpaid in the first place. But if I do this trip again, I will definitely do more research. I probably won't stay here again because I felt deceived and I thought I paid more than what it was worth.
