The location of this hotel is very nice. But the standard is really just a 3 star hotel. The stuff is friendly, but not too motivated. We stayed 3 weeks and we hope to go again next year. Because the see was ruff we enjoyed the pool. The water in the shower was not very hot, but since the wheather is warm in Thailand it was ok. We used the hotel pickup service which was very good. What we liked least was the fruit on the breakfast buffet. The sell very tasty fruit outside, but it seemed the fruit at breakfast had no taste. ...

Hotel was alright and located nice for spending here some holidays. Some weaknesses might be worth to be mentioned: cleanliness of bathroom, poor water flow in shower. Good breakfast offer.

I've been 16 days at aloha resort, first 2 days in a sup. room no sea view, it was a bad location so i moved to another superior room but with seaview, now it was at least decent. The room and the stairs (endless) to reach the room really needed a restoration, the sheets of the bed were most of the time dirt and some smell came out from the bathroom. The rooms were adiacent to a work in progress area with noise all day long and sometimes even till midnight. The breakfast was average and the tables not very clean, the position was excellent and the beach very nice and quit, except for the always present jetskies that make difficult to swim in peace. In summary I don't suggest this hotel, maybe the deluxe rooms are better.

Hotel was rebuilding their restaurant. They did not mention it to us or any other newly arrived guest. Therefore we left this hotel and stayed in the Samui Sense Resort. (very nice one) Also staff attitude wasnt very ''thai'' maybe because more guests complained.

The band was good, the beach and pool is good. I like the location. However, I was not happy with the staff that they do not speak English. I called a few times from Hong Kong about picking us up from the airport but each time I called the other person couldn't speak a word of English - that is terrible! You have to be there the right time to find a staff that speaks English, so if she has gone home then you have to wait until the next day. I also didn't find the staff that friendly...with no smile on their faces. Thai people are usually friendly.
