first: the hotel is a safe and secure area, but there is little public transport, shops and entertainement.Except there is a hotel van . They can bring you everywhere you want to go ,ofcourse for not to much money!!!. the beach is very nice and clean. So the hotel looks very nice ,except the vieuw from the swimmingpool around to the windows look poor in daytime ,they better can place mirror sheets on the glass and the walls need to paint or clean.A better protection with umbrellas for the sun. Not everybodey likes the sunlight on the skin. The front terrace can look much better after cleaning...

The hotel is very nice but like ALL hotels in that area, they are in the middle of no-where and you definitely need your own transportaiton if you don't want to be stuck in the hotel. They provide transportaiton but at extremly high costs. E.g. 400 THB/pax minimum 2 pax to drive you to Ban Peh (20 kms from the hotel) and 100 THB per waiting hour. Otherwise they have a free shuttle leaving the hotel at 9 AM to Ban Peh and taking you back at 5 PM. So we rented a motorbike from an outside company at a price slightly higher than everage in Thailand 300 THB/day instead of the usual 200 THB maybe because there only are 2 MC rental companies around. The staff was extremely helpful and caring. Once we ventured out of the hotel for a walk and while already far, the hotel staff reached us by car to give us umbrellas since it was the rainy season.

Nice hotel but a bit out of the way! I recommend this hotel only for up to 3 or 4 days.
