The hotel were NOT as we have expected. Large and very impersonal. Awful shows at the buffét. One music in the bar and an other one in the restaurant...and they overheard each other. The most expensive beer in the whole Phuket where found in the poolbar. People without any taste and dresscode in the breakfast area... We came fron another Phuket area to Karon, and saw everything you wish not to see.
Sorry to say, we´ll never come back.

We felt while the rooms were ok that they lacked comfort. Each balcony was visable from the people next door. As a non smoker I did not like the fact that you had to put up with people smoking on each side , not good
Food was of average quality, bakery items very poor quality. We had the seafood bbbq one evening and were not impressed. Steak was tough , squid was like shoe leather and food not hot. Raw food on diplsy to public late afternoon only covered by cling wrap in spit of the still hot sun beating down.
A strong smell ( sewer type) always meet you nwhen you walked to the dinning room

Very friendly and helpful staff, many of whom speak good english. This is a quiet location. None of the restaurants in the immediate area were recommneded by locals but it is only a short tuk-tuk ride to Kata (south) or Patong (north).

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside to the hotel is that the restaurant facilities were terrible. There was not a very large selection to choose from, and the food itself was poor. Everything was dripping in oil, even the burger buns!! If you ordered something from their menu that they did not have in stock they brought you out an alternative without informing you until the plate of food arrived! For example I ordered french fries (chips), when the food arrived I was told that they were not in stock but that they had brought me crisps (potatoe chips) that were covered in oil instead! I thought this was very poor service. Also the hotel advertised that there was a spa when there was none at all. The closest was 15 minutes away. Other than these two issues we had a very enjoyable stay, and we would gladly return to Phuket again
