Beautiful hotel, lovely amenities, friendly staff and nice restaurants nearby. A 25 minute cab ride to the seedier, yet livelier side of Phuket (Patong Beach). The only big disappointment is that we were put in a room right next to the neighboring construction - intensely loud at 8am and rooftop construction workers had a birdseye view into our bathroom shower. But I suppose the construction won't be going on forever. Nonetheless, it would've been nice to have had some type of discount or even a complimentary snack to compensate for the badly located room....

Gorgeous hotel in a quiet location. Has a private beach area with a nice restaurant and good service. The beachfront was beautiful and not overly crowded. Definitely recommended. The only thing is the noise coming from construction next door. Otherwise it would have been an ideal place to relax.

The hotel was even better then expected. It is really beautiful and very relaxing environment. We took a taxi from the airport, 450 bath and bought our ticket inside the airport. Back to the airport we took a taxi and then it cost 600 bath, approximately 25 minutes. The hotel car (the call it a limousine) is 1200 bath. When we arrived we got a wet towel and a drink. We stayed in the Deluxe Palm Room. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Two complimentary bottles of water per day, 3 apples and chocolate on the pillow. Nice breakfast buffet, but tea is not so good. The hotel food is delicious and quite expensive for Thailand, but very cheap compared with Sweden. The hotel restaurant has not an extensive menu so you probably want to eat somewhere else. We went to Taste and Pla Seafood at the beach which are tourist restaurants but very good food. Last night we went to Silk at the top of the Plaza which is a great restaurant. Surin beach is very calm and one might wonder where are everybody... Twinpalms area of the beach is nice and a lot of space between the sun beds (which are very comfortable). We went to Chedi one night, which has a private beach but the hotel is not as nice as Twinpalms. The beach restaurant is nice and we had a lot of drinks in the lounge sofas. For lunch we tried both restaurants next to Twinpalms beach club, which serve more traditional Thai food and it was much cheaper. There was a lot of children at the hotel, but they where well mannered so it did no

There is not much in terms of entertainment and dining out options around the Surin beach area. The hotel is a small, boutique hotel. The woodwork definitely needed a coat of polish. The pool is very small and the beach is quite a distance from the hotel & not as close as the web site mentions. This is definitely not a place for children as there are no activities at all for them. In house eating options were limited. There are a few small eateries on either side of the hotel. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite that was fantastic. I would love to stay there again but without my daughter who got bored to tears.
