One of the best places I've ever stayed at. I don't know why all the previous reviews for this place was so bad. I loved my time at Tropical Garden Resort. We had rooms 6403 and 6404 which offered a beautiful view overlooking the hotel pool and the sea. Our rooms were wonderful, and beautifully furnished. The food was great, very delicous. The hotel was only a 1 minute walk to the beach and about 20 - 30 mins away from Phuket Town. The staff were very friendly, spoke great English, and offered great service. Too much stair to the rooms. Climbing the equvalent of 4-5 story of step during breakfast and when going out. Not recommended for old folks.

This resort was built on a hill,six buildings,every building has one swimming poor i think.We lived here almost 6days,the first 2days,it was very noising,cannot stay in room,we asked to change room,but reception said no room.We had to go outside and come backe after 11:30p.m.:-( because our building is very close to another hotel,that hotel had a performance in that time...About room service,the towels always have yellow speckles,we asked them to change it,later they took new towels,but still have yellow speckles on it.Finally,cleaner took 20sets of towels,let me to choose :-) Other things is ok,we spent most of time in outside.Unfortunately,one night lots of water came out from the roof:-( Fixer said it's AC's problem,they fixed it when we stayed in Kata beach :-( this resort is close to beach,restaurants,internet room,surpermarket...but if you want to stay in beach, you'd better book the beach chair(100B/day) before 10:00am :-0 every morning i took blue towels which resort supplied and went to beach,booked 2chairs,came back to have morning buffet...if you are late,sorry, u can lie on the sand.Every time i went to thai boxing gym,a little far,had to book a taxi from travelling agency,ten munites will get in gym.

Enjoyed every aspect of this Hotel, comfortable,quiet, food,views,staff,closeness to the beach, shops & restaurants. In our fifties we loved our stay & would recommend this holiday spot to all,we didn't want to leave! We are certainly returning.

After I checked in, I found that the sheet was worn and stained with unwashed blood. Room size is ok, with full view over the pool and beach. Breadfast is so so.
