Beautiful grounds and pools - room had "worn out look" and needed to be painted and touched up - air-conditioning did not work properly and leaked - room was hot -- problem was never corrected- food was way overpriced - lot cheaper in town, just one block away

The best thing about this hotel is the 5 swimming pools and scenic space it was located in. Our room wasn’t great it had mosquitoes, the toilet stank a bit run down, which was a shame cause the rest of the hotel was divine. Should have spent a bit extra to get a nicer room. Staff were great though!

Thavorn Palm is in a convenient location on Karon beach. It is a good budget hotel for traveling with kids. We were in the old wing, which is pretty tired looking, but everything worked, and was fixed promptly if there were any problems They have a small kids club, with a fun selection of toys and activities. F&B in the hotel is expensive, but a short 5 min walk to the nearby town gave much better value for money. Good Value overall.

The hotel was huge but old. Staff were friendly but language a major problem. Reception dont use any computer so you have to wait for check in since they were writing only. Room and bed were queit big but bathroom needs renovation. We got great time though, the beach was just in front of us.

Karon beach front, excellent location with 5 swimming pools. Delux room is clean and standard size, but bath room is very small and tired.

Had difficulties with airport transfer, there was no-one waiting for us, they had forgotten we were coming. Aprt from that all was good. Needed more staff who were more fluent in English. The breakfast box provided to us upon our departure was excellent.
