Convinient location, attractive and clean pool area, breakfasts are ok but limited variety, the premium room that I was upgraded from Deluxe one was big, clean with the pool view, air condition is perfect. Very helpful and kind staff. Wi-fi internet in rooms is quite expesive 100 THB for 30 min, but fast.

Stayed in deluxe room.Spacious and clean (although did not get a great balcony view but that's alright).Everything is provided: Toiletries, extra pillows, dvd player, safe deposit box and even a huge umbrella(it rained on 2 nights when i was in phuket).Staff were friendly and efficient; staff came to repair my dvd player in the middle of the night on request. Breakfast was alright though would like to see more variety.Location was pretty good. Near to beach and tourist spot like bangla road and starbucks, macdonald. Value for money.

,but the bedroom are small
the swimming pool are nice and big ,and we appecied the jacuzzi ,shops ,restaurants,internet,travel tour for visiting islands around

near the beach, you only need to walk acrsoss a street and arrive the beach.The room is clean and quiet. The hotel has 2 swimming pool. It is not very far from the bar street and the commercial center.

Great place to stay. We were in a ground floor deluxe room near the front pool with a door also on the poolside. Chairs out the front too. Made it just as good as a pool access room at a much cheaper price.Whilst the room wasn't in perfect condition, it was nicely decorated, big enough, and had many thoughtful extras, like a bath you could watch tv from, a day bed, a remote do not disturb sign you could do from the bed, a dvd player, and two toilet roll holders ! It's a place where they have obviously listened to their customers on all the little things. The toilet was the only one we found that was like back home, that is, it wasn't half full of water in the bowl. Staff very friendly and helpful, great breakfast but other meals average. Cocktails not very good. The pools were good, about average in size with 1.5m deep ends and some bubbles. Location was good once you worked out it backed on to the main road (opposite Impiana) at the other end to reception, making it a much shorter walk into Bangla Rd etc. Only downside was lots of mosquitos, but they sprayed the grounds the next day, and I sprayed the room. Got rid of most of them. In summary, lovely atmosphere, great place to stay. Like a smaller version of the Patong Merlin, but at bargain rates.

This hotel is a value for money choice. Good location, very near to the sea beach. We also tried the seafood dinner at the hotel, it's tasty. The only drawback is the old room facility.

Great place to stay if you want to stay close enough to Bangla but still have your privacy. Bangla and Patong Beach is only a short walk away. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

I stayed in Thara Patong 7 nights with two other friends..and had a great timethere.The resort has a nice pool area, the rooms are clean.A very good central location, close to Bangla road and just a 3 min walk to the beach...Staff was friendly and very helpful..would stay there again.I would say..what you pay is what you get!!!

its a wonderful surprise! the service, location and rooms are great. having a deluxe room, we have 1 queen bed and 1 single bed, for 2 of us. close to beach and night market and yet quiet and luxury compound. would prefer to suntan in the pool instead of the patong beach where is so crowded.
we stayed 1 nite there and i wished we can extend!

The room was great, cleaned everyday and fresh bottled water & beach towels daily. It was large enough to accommodate our family, 2 adults and 2 children (4 & 6yrs) with 1 large king and 1 single bed and still room for a small settee. We were in the main building same level as the lobby, a corner room 2218 overlooking the pool. Restaurants are nice, although the first few days of our stay breakfast service was almost non-existent (it got better!). We visit Phuket regularly and usually stay at the Holiday Inn but would gladly stay here again as the price was a lot cheaper.

This hotel is in a great location being close to both the beach and the Nighlife of Bangla Road which is a short stroll away. Some rooms still being renovated but even these are of a good standard. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

It is in a center location with nice garden and pool, but not noisy. Near Patong beach. The restaurants also provide variety of foods. The room is big, but the washroom is average level. Friendly staff. Good value if in a non-peak season price.

i liked the location very much. It's very near the beach, the bus that goes to Phuket town stops nearyby & it's within short walk from all the eateries. i liked also the jacuzzi pool , but wish it would be turned on for longer period. The cable tv channels were erratic though & there were often short periods of sudden blackouts.

Everyone at Thara Patong Beah Resort were excellent except for the person who, I believe stole $600 Australian from my room which I left on the bench. I reported this to security and to Thai Police, however he claimed he knew nothing and is still working there now. The staff were outstanding and everything was excellent and on a very professional level excpet for that incident. I only put overpriced in the review becuase of the money loss, hwever if not for that I would say it was excellent.
