I believe it's my 2nd or 3rd time at this hotel, always a pleasure and an outstanding location. The staff are to be commended for their friendliness and commitment to ensuring that guests are well looked after and accommodated.
Compared with the larger resorts, it may seem to be a no-frills or thrills place but it suits me just fine. If I was in the hotel business, this is the place I would want to own. This was my third stay and will be the last, needs a much needed make over, canapy on rood was banging and flapping all night, the staff had no consideration for quiet when starting work at 6am that people were on holidays (my room was near staff room) and paying their wages.

we checked out at 12noon and only travel to the airport at 6pm. So we used the shower room with no charges by the hotel. The shower room is even nicer than the room we stayed.

The location was perfect; close to the most active part of Patong Beach, walking distance to a major shopping ceter, and immediate to beach activities and non-activities. Breakfast wih good coffee, the pleasant smiles of the staff, a sea breeze and the roar of the surf is a perfect way to start a day (and a better-than-average way to end it). We did have one adverse event, a failure of the air conditioner, which the hotel rectified very much to our satisfaction.

Everything about this hotel was excellent, location on the beach close to nightlife food and shopping. The only complaint was the fact the a/c in our room was in less than working order and even after calling to get fixed 2 or 3 times it still worked sub standard. Above that A+ excellent place and experience!

It was a wonderful stay during my recent stay from 23-25AUG 08. The hotel located exactly on the Patong beach which makes it very convenient for me to go thru' & flo' back to my room to get my things. They even have massage by the beach which gives so much more serenity to the relaxation. They also have an in house Massage house which really value for money, you will enjoy your stay if you are looking for juat a basic accomodation & pure relaxation... :)

I had an enjoyable 3 days 2 night holiday with my family at Patong Bay Garden Resort. On the last day in Phuket, we unintentionally left one bag in the hotel lobby. One of the Hotel Staff chase our Airport taxi and intercept us (at about 10km from hotel) and return us the bag.We are shocked and glad that there is still honesty in this world.Congrate Patong Bay Garden Resorts for your trustfullness and kindness.-Zamzuri (staying in hotel from 22-24 Aug, 2008).

Horrible hotel! If we had known that a 'Superior Room' meant a makeshift shower out of the corner of the bathroom, we would have never booked. Along with that, our air conditioner wasn't working and it was definitely nedded. After they changed rooms for us for the night, instead of accomodating their guests and letting us stay, they told us to pack up and move back to the original room. We refused because along with the faulty AC, the room's only window faced a very active stairwell which meant we would have to keep the curtains tightly shut in order for any privacy. They agreed not to send us back and instead lead us to yet another room facing another stairwell. The staff simply did not see our concern nor did they care. We changed rooms for the third time, with a view of a wall, but glad that we no longer had to worry about strangers peering into the room. The final time though, we were abondaned by our bell boy and left to drag our suitcases ourselves. As I was explaining my situation in the lobby, another guest had informed me that she had requested a room with a balcony because she smokes. She did not get her request fulfilled and was forced to go downstairs everytime she wanted a smoke. Ironically, one room we were moved to for the night had a balcony. Why was it not offered to her in the first place? This is not a hotel who puts their guests first, and aside from the less than considerate staff, the hotel looks nothing like the pictures on their website. The only thing they had going for them was their location, but there were far better quality hotels just a few doors down.

Location of the resort is excellent as just a few step to all shops.The room needs extra care as we find a crocroch in the room other than this it consider perfect.Maybe resort may provide some extra benefit can be a step ahead of others like giving customer free original thai massage & free transportation to hotel/airport.Customer can helps to advertise if there is something special provided.

Only real gripe was that although when booking we mentioned exactly how many people were going to be in each room (2 adults and 1 child in one of the rooms) and the only comment received back to us before departure was that the free
(included) breakfast was not available for the child and that we had to pay extra for him - no problem. What they didnt tell us was that they wanted another $500 to put a single bed in the room for the 13 night duration. We didnt have it available, so he slept on the cushions from the chairs in the hotels room on the floor. Something to be wary of when using internet to book your own travel. The exact same thing happened to the other family who travelled with us. The assumption made by the hotel/website is that the child will share the parents bed. This little snippet of information is advertised NOWHERE, and you assume the child will have at least a portable type bed in the room.

The reason I have answered average to questions 4 and 5 was that one night we were having a drink at the beach bar and the fact that that we were the only ones there prompted the staff to have a game of football on the beach. After they finished their game they came back, closed the bar without asking us if we would like another one and then switched off all lights leaving us in total darkness still not have finished the drinks we had. I found this most disrespectful and suggest the hotel trains their staff to be respectful to their customers. I would not stay here again and certainly would not recommend it.

best location on patong beach and even though it`s right were all the action is, there was no noise problem. Our only problem was ,our junior suite we booked was not available, so they said they upgraded us, but when we got into the junior suite the next day, we had definite been down graded. apart from that would stay here again

My room was at level 1, ground level. There's no proper door - entrance is via the balcony doors. i find that inconvenient as the bed is placed an inch away. Privacy is also compromised. There was a cockroach in the bathroom, small so still not too bad.
The lack of beach chairs/sun loungers was a disappointment. The pool was small but not too big a concern as the beach and sea is just a few steps away.
breakfast buffet was good, but the coffee was horrible. Try the cafe next door - better coffee and with free internet on PC.
Hotel has PC with internet but fees are pretty high.
overall not too bad a stay.

We loved everything about the hotel and the staff, it felt like we were leaving family behind when we left and want to thank each and everyone for our great stay and the assistance and concern in getting a doctor in while I was ill and also getting my husband to the hospital when he was ill at three o' clock in the morning at no charge to ourselves. We would however like to ask that a Tip Box be left at the Reception area for the staff in general. Great job was done by all and a Great experience the best we have had in Thailand.

I loved the hotel, the staff was great (some could not speak english which made it hard, the ones that can, which ware 3 of them, made up for the rest). the hotel is on the beach, shopping is just outside the front door. night life is about 20 steps away. the staff is just great. my only issue is all hotels in thailand have really hard beds WHY. i would stay at this hotel again.

Given the location (right on the beach), this should be a nice little boutique hotel. It falls well short of the mark. No bath tub in either of the two rooms we occupied. Our accommodation was motel class at best, with corridors on three side of one of the rooms. This place is well over-priced for what it offers.

Well, The place is clean and nice... but i only got a complain is about the TV channel that each station did not have clear picture which the signal is very poor. As the location of the hotel is great, that near to nightlife party place, near to beach and food stall... Even for 7-11 is just like 100-200m walking and for foot & body massage is just oppersite 7-11... The tour desk does really give us a good services. Price for a such hotel is really worth it to stay. If next time i'm goignt o Phuket, Patong Beach, i will choose stay back the same hotel. If really want to eat GOOD, Nice, Cheap seafood do remember go to ALROOMSOM by tu tu car which cost only 100 Bth. other then that those place for me are expensive. For beer and others are worth to drink and play. DO not for get to go Phi Phi Island which really a nice place...

The Tiki bar on the beach is a great place to meet fellow guests and having spent much time in Patong, it is also a place that locals come to sit on the beach or have a drink at sunset.

Service was terrible: staff were very impolite. they generally behave rudely, and they didn't know anything about professionalism. Especially manager, receptionist and beach bar staff (barman and waiters). the location of hotel (near the beach) and size of room was good, but other aspects were nothing. Room has wall view. Five Star Location!! Quiet and yet steps away from the center of Patong Beach. Room was clean, fresh and comfortable. Grounds and pool were kept immaculately clean. Safe and secure with discrete but visible watchman and staff. I like the out door bar on the beach, great for dining or just watching the sunset.

I was not happy at all with our tour desk experience. We booked a tour to Phi Phi island, which was our whole reason for going to Phuket, and were sent on an entirely different tour altogether. Then, we had to argue for close to an hour in an attempt to get a refund only to be treatly extremely rudely making us feel like we had done something wrong. Not to mention, we only received a 50% refund, which I thought was absurd. The blame lay entirely with the woman at the tour desk who could not speak English fluently enough to book the correct trip and knew nothing about customer service whatsoever. As we left the desk, she even said "Hope we never see you again." - Great way to run a business. This was extremely unpleasant and disappointing for us.
