The hotel location at the North end of Patong beach and the fact that it is built on a hill makes this hotel the ideal hotel for any length of stay in Patong Beach. Just far away enough from the noise and hussle bussle of the town but close enough for easy access. The views are stunning and the rooms very comfortable and appropriately furnished for a comfortable stay. All the rooms have been newly renovated and refurbished .The hotel staff always helpfull and friendly. they make you feel like royalty whether it's next to the pool or in any of the restaurants. I liked the transportation from the hotel lobby (up on the hill) to the street every time we needed to get out of the hotel. The location is excellent, not to close to the noise of the main area in Patong Beach, but close enough to walk. The beach is beautiful... justa a few steps down the hotel

Honestly, this is THE worst hotel i ever stayed in my whole life, it was such a bad experience that it made me even hate phuket.this is not my first time in phuket, and sure won't be my last, but surely not in novotel anymore.let me tell you some of the incidents i had:The staff can barely speaks or even understands English, and i mean everybody, even the hotel manager. you order something from room service, you wait for almost 2 hours for it to arrive. i got sick one day, i called the receptionist and asked for a doctor, they didn't even have one, i asked if they can call a taxi for me so i could provide him with the medicine name and money to but it, that was also not possible, they asked me to go to the reception and wait there for one (the distance between my roon and the reception is like 10 minutes walking) i informed them that i have high fever and can't move, they don't even care! i strongly advise anyone to RECONSIDER if they are planning to stay in this hotel!! lots of other better hotels in town.

The rooms where nice and the three tiered swimming pool was excellent. Staff friendliness varied from good to indifference. Particularly friendly were the staff around the pool and the concierge. The seafood buffet was very good.

The rooms have lovely furnishings and a beautiful bathroom. If you want an ocean view try and request a room on a higher floor (level 1 had no view but levels 2 and 3 had great views). If you are Australian there will be an uncomfortable moment when the porters stand around in your room and won't leave without a tip. Other tips: the buffet breakfast is quite good; watch your toes on the many concrete steps; transport is cheaper to organise yourself than through the hotel; there is no free shuttle bus as indicated in the brochure. The hotel itself is very lovely but the Patong Beach area is not very interesting, mostly just overpriced shops and sleazy bars.

Arrived at 7pm took 45 minutes to get room. Room had been closed all day Room Temp. 29c. advised Aircon would take 30 minutes to cool room to 20c.. Room Temp 8.15pm 28c. Asked for engineer to check, went for dinner, returned 10.15pm Room Temp 26c.. Duty Manager attended with engineer, tried to say was normal.Asked for alternate room, agreed on at 11pm. Duty Manager said would take 30 minutes to prepare and cool and would call when ready. As no call received ,called from original room to Customer service at 12.05 am, was told Duty Manager had gone home , and no other manager availible. eventually changed room at 12.25am. Total 5 hours 25 minutes to get room. Duty manager and Front office staff very unprofessional. Very disapointing as we have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times over the past 5 years plus family members have used the hotel also. Very poor reflection on Novotel (Accor Group) Would not recommend at this time.

For the elderly it's important to request rooms with easy access as the hotel are built in different units and there is no lift. People who can't climb stairs should spesify same to the bookings office when making theire reservation. We will certainly stay nowhere else on our next holiday to Phuket.

I like the facilities such as swimming pools, fitness centre and the restaurant. All the staffs are quite friendly and efficient. I will go back to the same hotel when I re-visit Phuket in future. Thanks a lot!

Terrific stay! Great pools, good food. We had a lovely view from our room and good service from the staff. the business center was usually out of paper for the printer, but convenient otherwise. Gym was okay (but didn't open until 8am). Pools were terrific, grounds very clean and lovely. Tough to get a cup of coffee in the morning, though. We got an internet special which only offered the basic room. The room was not of the highest standard, but it was very clean, and we felt very happy with the price we paid--especially with the lovely view and also considering the high level of staff service and the beautiful grounds.

The room had a poor view and was not of a 5-star standard--although it was indeed clean and all of the amenities worked (phone, safe, tv, etc.) The staff were professional, but became stumped and confused when we wanted to extend our stay. The buffet breakfast was fabulous and the seafood restaurant was outstanding, as well. Excellent service at the pool bar for happy hour. Friendly staff. Lovely grounds. I have recommended the hotel to several friends.

This resort was fantastic, the best place to stay in Phuket. Close to shops, transport, markets, beach, but a lovely quiet resort with excellent facilities. The staff are extremely friendly, like you are the only guest, and helpful with tours etc. The food was wonderful and service great. We found it hard to leave this resort as it has everything you could want. Thankyou to Hotel Travel.com for there excellent service when booking, we will definately use your service again.
