I have NEVER being treated by such unprofessional hotel staffs in my life !!! Cockroaches were running in the bathroom and the hotel don't even have an iron and iron board for customers to use!!! The Front Desk Manager Wanchai is CRAP !!!! Totally unfit to be a manager !!! When I have an issue and wanted to speak to his higher authority, he simply told me he is the boss of the hotel !!! What a load of craps !!!
There are a lot of hotel nearby that can provide better service than Metropole.... Please look for other hotel, especially if you are on business trip and needed internet service which it highly unstable in their hotel!!! This hotel is totally out !!!

the room is much more bigger than expected,and i stay at 17th floor,which i can view the phuket town cleary,only a suggestion is the breakfast time should extend till 10am,coz 9am is a bit rush for us to wakeup,anyway,other than that,the rest are excellent.

An old 3-star hotel facility that obviously is timed for some major refurbishment. Centrally located. Breakfast spread is good. Uncovered & not well paved car park where it would be good to have it properly paved. Inhouse pool is average size which is good enough considering it is a city hotel. Easy access to shopping centres and restaurants. Rather expensive rates during the peak Christmas week considering the old building condition of the hotel and facilities. Still a good option if no reasonable priced beach hotels during peak holiday seasons.

The location is terrific, right at the heart of Phuket town. Unfortunately, our request for a pot to boil water didn't arrive tho they agreed to provide. Bathtub water flow was draining out too slow (probably clogged), basin water flow awfully flowing out too slow and the air cond control never works tho we tried to readjust its thermostat. We thought the electricity will switch off automatically after some time when we remove the key from the place where we ought to place it like all other hotels, but this one doesn't work at all. Guess the hotel will have to foot a large bill for it! Breakfast buffet? Urgh .... same menu for the 2 days meal.

we stayed 1 night only , but we were happy to leave, hotel entrance is very nice, but thats all
there is no safety box in the room, mostly nobody speak english, they even dont understand basic words and dont try room service(green curry was really green full of pie like pie soup,hamburger was raw) ,ladies in the lobby bar are more bussy with their look then to care about guests and they are so slowly that you get faster drink from your room then waiting to make any order etc.breakfest is rich with asian food, probably the hotel is for asian bussines people, but i felt like in the factory.
