We had a wedding at this resort and it was outstanding.
We will definately be visiting Phuket again and staying at Merlin Beach Resort again. All 3 pools are fantastic, the swim up bar is great. Every staff member from Front counter, restaurants, housekeeping were fantastic and willing to help with your every need.Room was great over looked the ocean. Breakfast was fantastic, you would not go hungry at all.For families they had a children minding program with fun and exciting things for kids to do while parents have some time to themselves. Very family friendly pool with play equipment ...

We had a wedding at this resort and it was outstanding.
We will definately be visiting Phuket again and staying at Merlin Beach Resort again. All 3 pools are fantastic, the swim up bar is great. Breakfast was fantastic, you would not go hungry at all.For families they had a children minding program with fun and exciting things for kids to do while parents have some time to themselves. Very family friendly pool with play equipment and volleyball net in the pool.Down at the Resorts private beach is the best massage place 250 THB for an hr long oil massage, its so relaxing. they also provide great laundry service aswell, 50 THB for 1kg of clothing.
Its about 5-7 mins out of the hustle and bustle of Patong and will need a Taxi to get there, hotel charge 300 THB for taxi but if you walk across the road the taxi driver will charge 200 THB. However, if you semi plan your day the Resort has a couple of free shuttles to Patong and back at selected times. I actually enjoy getting out of the hustle and bustle of Patong and venturing back to the Resort.
This Resort makes every single guest feel at home and very welcome and you just dont want to leave. I enjoyed every single minute of my stay here and I couldn't stay anywhere else now that I have experienced Merlin Beach Resort.

95% execllent. Require more people with better english language skills in meals areas and the front desk. All queries get a "Yes". Relaxing area away from the main Patong beach. Try the beach across ther road - great and only found it late in the trip.

The whole package was excellent, but language barriers did cause some embarrassments and after that we were viewed with suspicion from the staff but when we look back it is all very understandable. You just need to not walk away untill everyone understands what is expected. It was the rainy season so even though they had cable TV sometimes it would just cut out for a while during a storm. We were impressed with the management of the Resort which once understood is efficient. Children are allowed to run as they please but some restraint needs to be put on them while in the company of other guests. We appreciated being out of the main town area with a free bus service to take us down town and return us as well. There are also different budgets catered for with food but once you stop spending that is when the service is graded back but no more than anywhere else I expect.

the hotel had fantastic swimming pools big enough for the size of the hotel it had beautiful gardens staff were lovely it had a shuttle service into patong for shopping and restaurants we would definately recomend this hotel and would stay there again

Great swimming pools. Beach not very good. Not as close to Patong as I thought but overall a very nice hotel. I would stay again.
