This is an amazing place. There are tons of things to do around the resort. Tons of good food with in walking distance and the beach is a three minute walk. We explored a lot, but the most amazing thing is that the resort is so nice, that you could have a blast just hanging out in the pool....

I am quite impressive with overall of the hotel. However, what I don't agree with is the hotel charges the children aged under 12 for the breakfast, which other hotels normally don't do it. Personally, I don't think children will eat that much for breakfast to be charged $ 6 each.

NIce hotel, but a little old lokking. The breakfast restaurant surdenly need to have a face lift.
There are a lot of green palms and trees, which looks very nice, but therefore there were also many insects (like muscidoes) which not is nice....
Great pool area.
Situated central only 5 min. walk to the beach and to the center.....

Amazing pools and excellent for young families, would personally rate it much higher than a 3 star hotel. Value for money with no sacrifice on service or quality. Have stayed several times already here and always recommend to friends traveling to Phuket to do the same.

This is a really nice hotel, the swimming pool area is great and the staff always smiles... there is an easy access to the beach only a few minutes walk... and Kata palm and the area around it is very nice and quiet.. good for families with children...I found hoteltravel after trying to book at Kata Palm at another side, and hoteltravel was able to confirm a room for us wile the other one could not.

Our stay att Kata Palm was perfekt! Close to the beach and a lovely pool area. Kata was nice and you can easy take a taxi to Patong, Karon, Nai Harn. You get a lot for you money at Kata and Kata Palm resort and spa. We were 2 adults and 2 children (4 years old and 8 months old) and we will recomend it!!!

The hotel was great with regards to the ambience and level of maintenance. A great pool ! Was given a drink & cold towel at the reception which cooled my sunburn. And the staff ther are a happy lot.

Didn't like the staff too much. The front desk staff's English is TOO poor and they are not friendly enough. The food served for breakfast was very poor, with little selections, and certainly below what we had expected from a hotel at that price range.

This resort is at a perfect location between the beach and town (walking distance to both). It is a wonderful place for the price. The morning breakfast buffet, pools, rooms were all great. We had a great time in the Kata beach area and plan on coming back this summer. We had no problems with our stay. We would highly recommend Kata Palm Resort. *Only thing to avoid...room service. The food was terrible.
