my wife and i stayed at kata beach resort and spa , it was our first trip to Thailand and wont be our last !! the hotel was beutifull. the staff were freindly and very helpfull nothing was too much bother and they went out of their way to make everything as easy as possible , the room was exelent with views over the pool and beach ,breakfast was the best meal of the day with so many choices of food it was hard to make up our minds what too eat next !!so it is with great pleasure that i recommend this resort to anyone who wants a holiday that will stay with them forever !!!...

The hotel's location is good and the beachfront is welcome.Room is ok but the washroom and shower could have been bigger. Breakfast menu was the same for the three days that we stayed there. They could have a station where we can get Thai noodles or local delicacies. Hotel should give hotel guests good offers for its Spa. My wife and I went instead to a couple of SPAs nearby which gave a one-for-one promotions. Hotel was nicely situated where shopping, restuarants and massage/SPAs are just outside the gates. WE had a nice holiday but could not make trips to Phi Phi island due to bad weather. Overall, it wasa good holiday.

The fitness center was the only disappointment. There was a very poor variety of equipment and what was there was in bad repair. This needs attention if they want my business again. The staff was so very helpful and professional at all times. Outstanding service! The pool area was great as was the bar colocated there. The spa was superb and worth every Baht. The staff there do so much to make you feel incredible. The room service menu needs to be expanded and be available 24 hours, this could include local menus from restaraunts that would deliver to the resort. Overall, a really fantastic stay with great views. Please do something about the fitness center!!!

No Wireless internet, shame for such hotel. Personell is not flexible to different situations. Beach front, breakfast with seaview is fantastic. Do not sign for "Special dinner nights". No value for money. Nice pool, nice poolbar.

The hotel location and hotel services are excellence. However the charges for the tour trip are on the higher side as compared with the out side hotel rates. for example the trip for PHI PHI island is 4300 Baht where as out side is 1500-2000 baht. This can be investigate in more detail.

The staff does not speak English at all. And in addition staff working by the swimming pool and at the beach is pretty rude. Mostly due to staff attitude I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Moreover I will advise everybody against staying with this hotel despite facility is quite good.

Had a very good stay at this resort, didn't use many of the facilities as i was only there for 2 nights and spent most of the time on the beach which was right at its door step! Rooms were nicely decorated and very clean, will visit again.

Our original room was excellent except for construction noise from nearby site. We were given the opportunity to switch to other similar rooms away from noise but opted for upgraded room. This was excellent in every regard. Highly recommend.

Above average Resort/Getaway in terms of location/ beach/seclusion followed by food. Well furnished room..and all sea facing rooms hav ample view of the pool and the sea (sea view...awasome). Clean / child friendly pool and very well maintained jacuzzi.The beachside cafe...really inviting one. The only negative feature was the lack of helpfulness of travel desk in arranging for a transport other than their own or when they did not have any vehicle availble. But it was an enjoyable stay....the location of the hotel at the beach with its view and the bayside cafe - its Unique Selling Proposition
