I really enjoyed the stay at Karon Sea Sands, and the staff are very friendly. I found out that there is no toothbrush & toothpaste provided inside the bathroom, I don't know if it is very common in Phuket or not.

Hotel is well placed close to beach but away from noise. Very pleased with hotel service even lent me a pair of crutches when I hurt my knee! Food at resort pretty pood, but cheaper at restaurant in front of hotel. Recommend against spectacles. Fitted clothes reasonable value, male hairdresser about 150m up the main street from the roundabout excellent.

The rooms were a good size,and everything worked fine. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

Beds were really hard.

This hotel was fantastic as far as location to the beach across the road, shopping and night markets. The room was pool side and well worth the fun. The only down side was the room smelt musty. Breakfast was very western food and only a little Thai, but was different things on the menu each day. Very happy with our stay there, even had a 3 hour beauty treatment which was top class in comparison to the massage places on the street. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, access to the hotel is now from a lane bordered by shops and restaurant kitchen. Not a very good first impression. But one gets used to it in a couple of days. Also, I missed a sea-view room, but the entire hotel is at right angles to the sea. However, at the price we paid (low season plus one night free if you stayed for three) it was great value for money. Aircon worked superbly. Couldn't understand why with such a large bathroom, the shower area was so cramped. The one issue I had was with front desk who messed up about sending a taxi for our friends, despite taking down the details. I think my disappointment was more with nobody owning up but trying to pass the buck. Certainly, front desk needs to understand and communicate better. Had no such problems with room service. One day at breakfast, the potatoes au gratin were off, otherwise food was fresh. Omelettes were excellent. Bacon was tough. A large spread, but variety a little lacking. Oh yes, the toaster needed three rounds for crisp toast. Hotel staff were extremely polite, cheerful and helpful at all times. My husband used the spa and was very happy with the quality of service. A little expensive for regular use, given that so many spa-type facilities are available just a few steps away. Overall we were happy with our stay and will certainly look at staying here again and recommending it to others.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's ammenities, and the pool access room was great. Breakfast was plentiful and there was enough variety to satisfy most, if not all tastes. The hotels only has 87 rooms so there was more personalised attention given by staff.

This is a great resort with a very good pool and good breakfast.It is about 200 metres to the karon village where the are many eat places.There is a little 7/11 outside on the main beach road and the beach is right opposite the resort.there is a market about 200 metres to the left as you exit the short resort road.A great place to stay if you want to walk the beach read and just relax.Not very good if you just want to shop

Staff was friendly upon our check-in (made us feel welcome). Overall stay was good except too many mosquitos in our room assigned (garden view). Will not hesitate to recommend friends should they want to stay in Karon Beach area.

Stayed at a room with direct access to the pool. Room is clean, tidy and it did not look dated. Pool access is very handy and view from the room is impressive. I can add three things to be done. The balcony door needs to have screen to keep the mosquitoes away when it is kept open for fresh air. The mirror at the bathroom needs to have lights on both sides or somewhere facing to your face. The existing light is at the top of your head. Not only you look lile Dracula but you can not see your face for shaving for example. Free internet connection is correct if you have a Thai service provider! If not, you have to pay for the service! Neverthe less, location is good, staff friendly and place is kept clean and tidy. If I decide to visit Karon beach again there is no reason why I shall not choose the same hotel.

Very nice and wide bedroom even the deluxe room. Nice and great bathroom. Lot of space anywhere. Very nice swimming pool. Lack of choice for the breakfast : Good choice for american breakfast but very few for local dishes. Small parking lot and entrance of the hotel hard to find while coming by car. Very wide and clean room for this standard (Deluxe). Easy to find the way in the hotel. Poor business facilities. No free Wifi. Nice swimming pool. Lack of Thai food for the breakfast. Good quality of the food and of the fruit plate in the room. The hotel was renovated not so long ago... Room, bed and towels clean. Balcony cleaned everyday. On the beachfront. In a private Soi

Beautiful, friendly and really clean hotel. We got a good value for our money. Spaceful rooms, easy to stay with two children in same room. Beautiful pool-area, safe for children. We liked the hotel a lot with children 5 and 2 years. This hotel is really trying to do it´s best. Restaurants and bars in the hotel were quite good, but little too expensive for us. Small but ok gym.

beautiful hotel, nice big and clean rooms, great services, nice swimming pool, spa and everything! we were there during the low season (june-july), and we must say that we wouldn't stay in Karon again in the low season.. there's absolutely nothing to do (shops and restaurants closed, nobody around). you have to go to patong for some "nightlife" (we're a middle aged couple.. what we mean by "nightlife" is just a walk around shops/markets!): and the taxi to patong is 200 baht one way. so, great hotel, definitely 4 stars by european standards, close to the beach, and quiet... but way too quiet in the low season (becomes boring after 3 days!)

Excellent location, near to beach & shopping & food areas. Hotel staff were nice. Only down is breakfast variety was limited and not much changes in the 3 mornings I was there. Overall, nice value for money hotel! Better than booking 5 star hotels which is just 100-200m down the road.

Just Simple and quiet resort.......but you will feel that everything there is enough for a great resort
