We absolutely loved the Chedi. Beautiful premises and location and excellent service and staff. No complaints at all. We will definitely go back. The only thing to note is that there is a lot of stairs (and I mean a lot). I am reasonably fit and sometimes found it difficult walking up the stairs to the room....

food: average and expensive, better local dishes available at surin beach nearby
the hotel needs some renovations here and there, rooms charming, but no real door to the toilet

All cottages except the sea front suites are very old. You can tell it's a 21 years old hotel room. Restaurants are ok but breakfast are rather basic. Sea front suites are good. New fixtures & close to the beach. However, if you have knee problem, don't stay at this hotel. Just climbing up & down 40 steep staircase for breakfast can kill you...forget about it if you stay at hill cottage!

Free watersports (Hobie/windsurfers, etc), and staff were very flexible about late checkout, providing us with a fresh room to shower/change in before leaving late in the day for the airport. Lovely architectural design of resort and facilities. Highly recommended

excellent hotel with dramatic architecture as well as site location. would reccommend to anyone staying on holiday in phuket. if you are not able to climb stairs, please be aware to book one of the rooms closer to the beach. can not wait to go back!
