We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Banthai.The location was perfect. Even though the Hotel was mostly occupied it was nice and quiet and relaxing with great pools and rooms. Just outside thre front gate is Patong beach, restaurants and markets and a short walk away is the Otop markets. Breakfast was great and the staff were really friendly and spoke good english.

The overall environment of the hotel was great & the stay are very enjoyable. Just the perfect place to stay in for a perfect holiday.
Location of the hotel is great, beach is just across the road, surrounded by great shopping, massage, food & dinning and just a few minutes walk to Bangla for the happenning nite in Phuket to sit back & relax from the whole day activities.

Located along the bustling Patong Beach, I found the Banthai quiet and convenient when I needed to escape the bustle of Patong. But, stepping outside the hotel you're back amongst the hawkers, restaurants, bars and other offerings of Patong Beach.
The breakfast buffet was adequate, the service sufficient and rooms what I expected. The pools and pool bars were a welcome relief at the end of the day.
What you're paying for is an oasis amongst the turmoil of Phuket's hot spot. I would go back to the Banthai.

THe CXS system was impressive but there were a few glitches when using it. It seemed that the only way to reset it was to turn the room power off and on (even by the staff). A user manual would be useful. However, your hotel staff were very helpful and patient. Would definitely return and reccommend it to my friends.

The best I like this hotel is it has excellent location and close to everything. I also like the its swimming pool designed with jacussi which is special. Staff are very friendly and willing to help. What I was a bit disappointed was the quality of the breakfast. The variety was not as much as other hotels in Phuket where I'd stayed before. And the taste of the food was also regular. Probably because of the season, I think this hotel is a bit over-priced.

I have stayed in Ban Thai before in 2000 and after the new wing when it was open in 2003 as i like the place of the hotel and the beach is just across the street, andthe staff r all very friendly and helpful in all your doubt, it's worth all the money...

The rooms are well furnished, the pool's great, location fantastic. One area lacking is the front desk staff services which needs to be improved. Staff were disorganised, in a state of confusion with a "no can do" attitude..otherwise, my stay at the resort would have been perfect!

The service at the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. It was mind-boggling that the hotel placed staff who were not well versed in English at counters where they would be required to communicate to guests. But I think it is still a worthwhile hotel to live in for your holiday in Phuket.

Well planned resort, rooms are very comfortable & well decorated. Great place to stay, great location, front desk girls great. my holiday was super, the only complaint is about the wait staff at breakfast, & the bar staff at the front bars. i hope in the future they will get better as time goes on & they gain more experience in dealing with people. i will go back!

Great hotel with an excelllent central location along Patong Beach. The hotel has huge gorgeous pools, warm customer service, cozy and comfortable rooms, bright and open zen-like atmosphere, convenient location, but it can get a bit noisy due to the open-air pub in front. Breakfast was a little bit disappointing with its narrow spread, but the cheap room service food menu makes up for it. Great value for money spent. I'll definately stay there again.

I like my room facing the pool. Ambience was excellent especially the furniture in the room. The only inconvenience is in the restaurant - cause there's no shelter linking the hotel and the restaurant, especially when raining, not even a proper walkway. But overall is great!

Only Negative was room was on a per room/nite basis. But when my friend arrived from KL, I was asked to pay an additional 500 TBHT per night !
