This was a great resort and it's location was great, too. Other than the other really expensive hotel that is in front of the beach, this one was on the hill side and felt more secluded. It was a romantic place and had a lot of space to walk around and play. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are great...I recommend paying the extra amount to get hot water in the Deluxe room because you dont get it in the Standard rooms. Also, when you are ordering food from the resort restaurant...and you want "a little spicy", say "no spice". I ordered a curry dish with just a little spice and...

Other than that, staying here for a couple of nights is a great getaway. Have fun!

Overall it is a good hotel, its best suited for couples and maybe families. It was good hotel and only had two problems, one was that there was no TV in the superior rooms and it had limited electricity which was not explianed to me beforehand. For the price i paid I assumed there would be a TV and electricity which stops working 7/8 o'clock in the morning and comes back at some point after 7pm. The excellent staff and service made up for these disapointments and i would come back but i would stay in the better rooms. i hope this helps

This resort is much more excellent than I expeted. Though superior bungalow is very simple, we stayed out side all a day so we didn't need luxuary bed. The land scape, sea view, friendly staff, restaurant, or whatever in the resort are very nice. They have brand-new infinity swiming pool which is lovely and relaxing! My husband and I love so much. All Staff are helpful and friendly, some of them remember our name. The restaurant serve beautiful Thai food, the top chef worked at China town in Bangkok before he came there, so taste is guaranteed! We wil back to Baan Raya Resort as soon as possible!
