Classy furnishing, HUGE bed, lovely view, oceanfront - very, very clean...This, by far was a lot more than we expected. We had 2 stays at this hotel during our 3 week honeymoon in Thailand, and both rooms were were given were excellent - beautiful views, lovely furnishings - we're even thinking of decorating one of our bathrooms to match one of the bathrooms we had. Was it worth it? No question. If anything, we owe Amari Coral money. They even accomodated us when we arrived a day early. The ocean view is my favorite for this hotel.
I booked a mini-bus from airport to the hotel which cost 1,200 THB. The driver is very nice. Cold water and tissues are provided when we are in the car. The checking in is quick and tea is provided for free at the front desk when checking in. The frontdesk staff is very patient explaining everything and showing us the room. The room is big enough and very clean. Bed is nice but a little bit hard. I personally prefer the soft bed. The room is quite cozy. But maybe the furniture can be upgraded soon. TV is a bit small but no problem cuz I never watched it. And luckily I think we got the best rooms there cuz we’re at the first row – nearest to the beach. The beach is small and I don’t think it’s for swimming. The balcony is great. Seaview is fantastic. The 2 swimming pools are nice too. Restaurant is quite nice. Food is good. Breakfast is nice too. The flower and chocolate provided are nice. The hotel is located on a small hill. It’s very quiet.
I didn’t book the mini-bus back to the airport cuz we’ll be staying for another night in another hotel. A reminder letter has been sent to me asking us to contact the staff if we’d like to book the vehicle. Very thoughtful.
The checkout time takes a bit longer. But no problem at all. All in all, I like the hotel a lot. And will surely recommend to others.

Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location! Fabulous service! The only piece of advice - DO NOT use the hairdresser's at the hotel - she has got no clue... burnt my hair while doing a light perm. Apart from that - my husband and I had an absolutely amazing and unforgettable holiday! Highly recommended!

The hotel was lovely with a fantastic balcony outside which was massive. All staff could not have been more feindly and helpful. It is in a very quiet part of the island so gerat for relaxation but not if you want a bit more life. Would definately recommend.

We stayed at the resort from Apr 14 to Apr 18/08 and enjoyed the quietness, luxury, ocean and pools. A very nice buffet breakfast was included. Our deluxe room was excellent with a clear view of the ocean although the mattress on the kink size bed was much firmer than we prefer. The pools were great and snorkeling off the jetty was excellent with many similar fish and new coral growing. Many different fish were seen the roped off beach area but you had to look for them. It was a 5 minute walk to the manic action of Patong Beach; 10 minutes walking back uphill or $6 by tuk-tuk. Service was attentive and friendly with guest service requests handled efficiently. We would recommend this resort to those looking for a relaxing break.

Great location with friendly and helpful staff, however, the rooms do not match the surroundings. The room I was allocated (Superior), was far too small with shabby and outdatated fixtures and fittings. Don't let the location dictate your opinions of this resort as I believe that the accommodation was somewhat disappointing and overpriced.

stay in Amari Coral Beach Hotel with my boyfriend.Alougth one night only,it's shock to me for sightviewing, room service, food... excellent location, close to shops and entertainment, also quiet enough. Maybe not in the busy period for travelling,the reservation rate is quite ok from Hoteltravel.com. The cute private beach, delicious food, surperise honeymoon cake and all of the things from Amari, absolutely absorb me to live again

The best location and scenery a resort could ever offer.We were given lots of little extras, such as bed turned back at night, flowers on our bed,slippers beside bed and daily paper. The staff were very friendly.This was our best holiday as it was by far the best resort that we have ever stayed at. We are already planning our next holiday to Phuket and without question we will be staying at the Amari Coral Beach.We are recommending this place to everyone.Outstanding. Better to stay in deluxe room, much better view and faciliaties. Nice hotel with wide seaview, delicious food in the hotel restaurant with reasonable price. Good service from hotel people, but the tour desk and transport service from the hotel agent is expensive. 2 swimming pools in the hotel, the beach is only for seaview instead of swimming and walking. 15 minutes by walking to the busy area of the patong beach. Overall, it's a good hotel to stay in patong.

Quality of facilities, service and friendliness of ALL staff was first class, more in line with what could be expected from a five star establishment. Location good, well away from the hubbub normally associated with Patong Beach. Deceased coral rather spoils the actual beachfront but facilities available "in-house" render this a minor inconvenience. Excellent value for money. This was a last-minute choice but we would certainly return there in the future.

The staff of the hotel was very friendly, excellent hospitality. The food at the hotel restaurants on theme nights were also very good. Quiet location for relaxing holidays but also walking distance to the bars and clubs (night life) of patong. This was my 2nd time in amari coral and will go back again soon. ( i hope )

The room was of a very high standard with every facility needed for a trouble free holiday. A truly beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. Unfortunately, the time it took repeatidly to get a response from the food and beverage staff let the hotel down somewhat. However, I would definately go back again! A quiet location but only 2 or 3 minutes from the center. The italian resteraunt was one of the best I have seen. The evening entertainment was of the highest standard - very impressed. Beautiful gardens well maintained.

The hotel is located on a nice quiet spot, outside the busy Patong beach. The beach can't really be used as it has too many rocks, but for us with a 2-year old daughter who is afraid of the sea that was not a problem (a small piece of sand to play with was enough for her) and the pools are great, especially for small children. The whole compound was nicely set up, with a lot of green. Breakfast was excellent and the Italian restaurant also very nice.
