Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort & Spa Reviews
Pablo from Spain stayed in a Superior bungalow for 4 days in November.
The hotel is really nice, we went there because a friend of us recommended it to us. It is really nice and everything was perfect. Nevertheless we think that it is a little bit expensive, the tours and food. We spent there 4 days and they were wonderfulHotel Facilities

Location is rustic and remote. However, beach is not great and bungdlows are honestly just average. All in all. it's a nice place in a relaxed setting. Don't expect too much as it's overpriced for what it is but easily enjoyable and stress free. Pool was nice and happy hour at end bar was good. After all, I am on vacation and objective is to relax and not to complain...but since you asked.:)Hotel Facilities

I have to say Koh Phi Phi was beautiful, and an amazing place to get away to. I loved the location of Phi Phi Village because it was away from the trashy Ton Sai bay. I have to say the hotel was great, but the service and food was average and overpriced. I am not saying that because I am cheap, but when you are used to the amazing food and bar service right behind the hotel for 1/10 of the price it is hard to be ok with the high price and quakity of the hotel food and service.
When I say behind the hotel I mean the little village that you can walk to through the path on the right side of the main bar at the hotel. There is an amazing bar "The knock out bar" with the nicest owners and comfortable hammocks. There is also a rediculously good little restaurant on the imediate right of the bar. The food is more traditional and so good. The village might not look like much at first, but it was the most authentic thing we saw in Thailand.
The people in the back village can also hook you up with daily activities for better prices. If you go further to the right down the path there are other restaurants that are very good as well.
I guess I would say the hotel is worth it, but expect seclusion and don't eat at the hotel. Also, don't expect to have a direct answer from the staff. But I think that is a cultural thing in Thailand. They hate to disappoint you so instead they make you wait, and give you indirect answers.Hotel Facilities

to add to the comments of other tourist, be aware that the sea is shallow, you can either swim in the hotel's swimming pool or take a boat to swim in other lagoons. during the low tide, the sea goes back 200-300 mHotel Facilities

Steven from United States stayed in a Superior bungalow for 5 days.
This was my second visit and I believe it is a good value for the money. For as big of a resort as it is it still provides a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Good beds. Nice bathrooms. Rustic chic decor. I love the decks and spent many hours reading and relaxing there. For now they are the only resort on that beach which is great....but that also means they hold you captive. Very easy to never leave the grounds but make the effort and you will be rewarded by the rest of Phi Phi and its environs. It will be that much nocer to return back to the tranquility of the resort.Hotel Facilities

David from Australia stayed in a Superior bungalow for 2 days.
Went here for leisure holiday, stayed in Superior Bungalow, very nice and luxurious. Hotel itself is beautiful with plenty of small details. Service was generally very good . Restaurant food itself was excellent however the service was a little quirky. Reasonably priced considering most resort pricing. Is on the other side of Phi Phi Island so is very isolated, this is good and bad thing depending on your motivations for a visit.Hotel Facilities

Amazing location to those who are already familiar with the touristic part of Phi Phi.
The best is to combine with a few days on the touristic side of the island (Ton Sai).Hotel Facilities

The village is a bit away from the TongSai Bay (15 minutes by taxi boat). Therefore you have a fully private and transquil spaces in the hotel area. The beach is amazing, and most villas are located in the fantastic garden. The Merlin restaurant has wonderful buffet during evening.Hotel Facilities

It is a little far from the main PP travel centre, but it's quite and special with each room is a separate hut. The village hotel enviroment is very natural, but with precise wonderful decorations inside the rooms, you may find flowers everywhere. You may lookout the green sea in the hotel swimming pool. However, the beach is not delicate and white enough to walk on.Hotel Facilities
