The Phi Phi Islands are just what you would expect from a tropical paradise. Being on an island, you can expect to see numerous water activities on offer, including: canoeing and kayaking, diving and snorkelling, swimming and sun bathing. There are also many adrenaline-filled activities on offer such as: rock climbing and cliff jumping. When you need a respite from all of the physical activity, you can watch the sun set, see a Thai boxing match, party at one of the many hotspots or haggle over prices with the shop keepers.
Hiking and Trekking
Hike up the mountains on Phi Phi Don, where you can see nature at its best. Majestic scenery and pristine waters provide the magical ingredients of a privileged place. Try hiking up to View Point where you can get a classic view of Phi Phi Island. You can reach View Point by following the path behind Tonsai. At sunrise it is amazing to watch the sun spill onto the cliffs.
Shark Point
Hin Bida attracts a lot of Leopard sharks and often Nurse and Reef sharks as well. February and March sees Whale sharks hanging around at their favourite spot about 8 kilometres southeast of Phi Phi Lei. With diving professionals, you can actually swim with the sharks!

Viking Cave
This large cave is about 3.2 square kilometres in size and is derived from one of the numerous drawings on the wall which resembles a Viking ship. The ceiling is 10 to 15-metre high and contains many ledges inhabited by thousands of swallows, thus a bird's nest collection demonstration is a regular feature of guided tours.
Beach Fun
Phi Phi beach provides a great beach area at low tide for Frisbee throwing (either on sand or in the water) or a game of football with the locals.
Take a Boat Ride
Enjoy a panoramic view of Phi Phi Islands from the sea as you sail along the cliffs and caves of these spectacular islands.
Visit “The Beach” Movie Set
Ko Phi Phi Lei was the backdrop for the 2000 movie The Beach. This movie staring Leonardo Dicaprio, caused tourism to increase dramatically on both Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Lei. With the new found notoriety, hotels and businesses seem to sprout up overnight. You can see where the filming actually took place and enjoy this magical paradise. The island is surrounded almost completely by sheer cliffs plunging into the ocean, with a few caves and a sea lake between two cliffs allowing water to enter.

Canoeing
There are various establishments where you can hire canoes, either by hour or by day. A few charter companies in the area also offer canoeing expeditions along the coast or around the islands in the area.

Cliff Jumping
If you are looking for an adrenaline-charged adventure, then cliff diving is for you. There is definitely an element of fear present, but if you are crazy enough to take the plunge, you are sure to have bragging rights for a long time. There are companies that do cliff jumping excursions and you can have your adventure videotaped.
Go Clubbing
Phi Phi is famous for its nightlife and is a really fun city after dark. There are a wide range of nightclubs and bars throughout the city that cater to all tastes. From the rock music at the Hippie Bar to dance music of Carlitos, everything is on offer.

Rock Climbing
Whether you are an expert or a novice, Phi Phi has some of the best places to climb. Even though Phi Phi is not as popular as the neighbouring Pailay Beach, its scenic beauty and bolted routes makes it a good contender.
Snorkelling, Scuba Diving and Fishing
Phi Phi Islands have incredible diving spots just a short boat ride away or you can simply jump into the water with a pair of goggles and be amazed by the gorgeous sea life in the emerald waters below. On the other hand if you'd rather catch the fish, Phi Phi has a number of charter companies catering to this sport.
See a Sporting Event
About three times a year Phi Phi hosts a football tournament, island style. About 15 teams fight it out over 10 days of serious competition. Also, wherever there is a clear patch of land, you can find the locals playing a friendly game of football.
Bargain-Shop
If you love to shop then you're going to love bargaining at Phi Phi’s outdoor markets and stalls. The main shopping line stretches down the central road of Phi Phi Dom, but you can find vendor stalls throughout the island offering everything from souvenirs, silk and jewellery, to paintings, carvings and artworks. Remember to bargain!

Thai Boxing
Three times a week the Reggae Bar Complex offers live Thai Boxing. These Bangkok professionals have training camps on Phi Phi Island. They get some big national names in the high season. Fight night is big and so are the crowds
