The hotel is ranked as two star but it is far better value and standard than this I think it is 3 1/2 star. The staff are exceptionally helpful, the breakfasts and meals are great , the location is handy to the best shopping mall and plenty of activities nearby. I have stayed here a few times and each time I can not fault the service. Well done to everyone at Sunbeam.

Had to use another frontdesk in a neighbouring hotel to check-in. Several floors were getting their floors re-tiled. Did not get hot water to shower until 1 am on my first night! No one could explain what the problem was. That is the reason for the poor score for the standard of room which otherwise looks pretty and is comfortable.Breakfast was cleared on the dot at 10am regardless of hotel guests still eating within the restaurant! That is the reason for the poor score for the Food and Beverage outlets but otherwise the breakfast buffet was slightly above average.

The location of the hotel was good for its closeness to bars etc. but on 2 nights the music was extremely loud until 3.30am and sleep was impossible. The room was nice and the bed comfortable and just a few small cosmetic improvements on corridor decorations were needed. Pattaya is a lawless place and lack of controls on noise is a problem but I would probably stay at the Sunbeam again.

Hotel stay was not good & I think I will never ever stay at Sun beam hotel for three reasons: 1)I had a guest in my room for 1 hr & they have charged for that also.They have charged 600 baht per guest for 1-2 hrs in my room for 5 days.I can pay if guest stays in my room for whole night. 2) Second there is little burn by cigarette by accident on one of the furniture they have charged 1000 baht for that.This is not acceptable.

I was assigned a room on the 11th floor. The general floor hall carpets and walls were stained and well beyond replacement date. The room was very good but maintenance was being carried out during the day on this level and caused noise problems. There was also a smell of chemical thinners through the airconditioning from maintenance being done in rooms. Some days drilling and other noise was disturbing. I awoke one morning with a splitting headach , sore throat and nauseaus and very strong fume smell. Opening the door several open cans of thinners and paints were outside which had gone through the airconditioning. If the entire floor and rooms on a level are being refurbished then guests should not be booked in to rooms. This was disappointing. Other than this the pool is very nice and quiet and restaurant breakfasts were nice and staff courteous. The hotel also did not provide access to a car or taxi whick was needed to be privately arranged at the tour office outside. I also notices that Pattaya stays open until early hours of the morning so closing the breakfast at 10 am was a bit early. I would recomend this be 10.30am. Rooms are very nice and spacious with nice decor.

Very close to beach and nightlife.Staff are very helpful with thai smile.Bath room is little bit small and dark.But for the money you paid is worthy. From my experience I strongly recommend all my fellow friends to book your hotel through hotel travel.They are very prompt and rates are very competative.

The price is acceptable and the facilities are good enough except that the staff at the reception desk is not so good. Besides, I have to wait about 40 minutes for my booked rooms to be available.

Great room and location, at a great price!!! Near everything in Central Pattaya!!! Will be back!!!!! Awesome balcony and unbelievable fireworks on New Years eve night!!! Big soft bed and huge room. Was a small problem with shower faucet, but otherwise perfect stay!!!!

Very nice hotel, until I got to my room. Website listed 110v availablle in the room and internet in the hotel, both were unavailable. Pool was great, as was the service.

Excelent location in Pattaya in the middle of nightlife area, friendly security staff and very cheap hotel. But jaded room, too much noise, smelly toilet, and a lot of small cockroaches inside.

the location was good & convenient, but suggest to find better ones if it is your family holiday. room was good enough, but I feel it makes no difference between its standard & deluxe room, I still do not feel any differences of it till now except the room rate. I feel the smell was not comfortable when you walk out of your room & walk in the hall, perhaps it is time to change the carpet, swimming pool was nice! I feel staffs are nice to guests.

Unannounced or unpublished guest rates were disturbing. I paid for a room with 2 beds, why should I pay a rate for a guest to stay with me?

Very close to the activities in Pattaya. Room was clean. Food was not impressive for the price. I ordered a king size bed, but they gave me twin beds. I would consider staying there again.

The Sunbeam Hotel has good-size rooms, with balcony views, in-room wireless LAN, nice pool, Thai massage salon on site, and a nice restaurant with a good selection of dishes. The staff was courteous and helpful. My only complaint would be the limited room service menu.

The staff were most curtious, polite and helpful. The room was excellent but I found the lighting to be too subdued (dim). On the 11th floor I found that when functions were held on the top floor there was a lot of noise that carried through to the room.All in all a most enjoyable stay, I have recomended the hotel to others.

I really like Sunbeam. It is not on the beach and it is nothing fancy, but it's a nice hotel and the staff are very friendly. Would happily recommend it to those who don't have too high demands. Service staff nice and friendly.
