The service was good. Front desk was good.
The breakfast was awful. The shower area in my room was simply unacceptable. If I knew that I was getting a room with the shower as part of the bathroom and not without an enclosure, I would have refused to stay in this room. Sawasdee Siam was a terrible experience. the bathrooms are not designed properly. Everytime we used it it was flooded...not just my bathroom but i saw all of them in the same condition. Breakfast was awful and so was the staff. When i complained about the bathroom getting flooded they all laughed at me and i also came to know from my taxi driver who was waiting for us in the lobby,that they laughed at us. Not only this but when my taxi driver (hired from bangkok) guided us on the tour to Koh Larn island one of the staff from the hotel asked him rudely to leave the hotel as soon as possible , also they charged him 200 baht for letting him park his taxi while our pickup from pattaya. My daughter slipped in the bathroom twice and so did i. please do not choose this hotel...pay a little more and you can get much better than this...not suitable for a family. Location also not very good. I just had coffee in my breakfast as not much to eat. I would not recommend it to anybody.Hotel Facilities

The reception staffs are not skilled. I arrived there at 1-45pm with prior booking but they failed to locate my reservation. a had to call different places but they didn't helped me and took about 1 hour to give my room. Air con was not working and i requested to change my room and they did it after 3 hours. Bell boy was rough behaved. Room light was very poor and the toilet is also below standard with very high up small basin.Finally, i must say, it was not a standard hotel at all.Hotel Facilities

I HAVE STAYED AT YOUR HOTEL EVERY YEAR FOR THE PAST 3-4 YEARS WAS WAS PLEASED EXCEPRT FOR THIS TIME!!!!
1. closet door broken and would not slide.
2. water farcet in bathroom not working properly.
3. air condition missing knob and not cooling the room
4. shower head and hose in wrong place
5. very rude personal in the lobby except for Soya. She was the best thing about your hotel.
6. After making my reservation online and paying the stated price per my room with my credit card before arriving at Siam Sawasdee Hotel the front dest wanted to increase my nightly rate by almost double. I had plans on stay for at least 6 months but with the treatment and lack of respect that I was showed I decided to go to another hotel. I will know not come to your hotel next year and the years after.

This is a budget hotel and was good value for money. Large, comfortable room. Floor and bedding were spotlessly clean but the wc could have been cleaner. Bathroom service items were topped up spasmodically. Staff were friendly and helpful when they got to know you, but a bit stand-offish at first because they didn't speak much English (my fault for not speaking Thai). The pool was good. Breakfast had over 30 items and an egg chef who cooked omelettes etc on request, but there are also plenty of places to eat adjacent to the hotel. Located in the bar area of Pattaya, a morally bankrupt town, so not really a family place. No joining fee for 'guests' sleeping over at night. Overall I was very pleased and would recommend it as a low cost hotel for adults. Only ten mimutes walk from the beach road and 'baht taxi/buses' pass the door.Hotel Facilities

This hotel needs to shape up! The room I stayed in had cobwebs, the towels are all worn out, the television had no remote control for the simple reason, according to them, because my room is just a standard room. I find it a stupid reason! Whats worst is that when i was looking for my key at the front desk after coming from the beach, they told me that my key wasn't there! They were even telling me that I might have forgotten it inside my room. After a few minutes, we found out that they gave my room key to another hotel guest! Talk about security! But even it was a VIP room, water still dropped from the ceiling in the room, and still no ashtray for a smoking room...i called the housekeeping in the hotel, they understood the problems, but just didn't do anything about it!
