The safe did not operate and when I requested it be repaired I was advised the safe was not encluded in the room cost. Overall a rather disappointing stay after having enjoyed my stay on many occasions prior to this visit.

I have stayed here many times and always enjoyed my stay, however this time my holiday was somewhat marred by the rudeness of the large contingent of Russians visiting without children and their apparent attitude to reasonable and fair values. I took for the first time my daughter and her family, including two children under 7, however the elderly Russians spoiled our stay by repeatedly booking 75% of the deck chairs from about 11.00pm the night before, resulting in no deck chairs being available as from as early as 6.00am in the morning. A large number of these "booked" chairs were never used for many hours but unfortunately reserved by these guests to the detriment of young families. The attitude of these guests was not in keeping with my previous experiences. I believe hotel staff should stop this practice by removing towels, books, shoes from deck chairs booked before the pool opens thus ensuring that all guests equally enjoy the public facilities.

I booked a Deluxe room and they gave me a room on ground floor without any view, I did not have even sun light, the view was blocked by a wall. They gave me an other room after I complained. The mandatory New Year dinner is a rip-off and is not worth the $250/person at all. This was my second visit there and was a mistake. I will not go back.

The major fault with this hotel is that the Internet connection usage accounting is completely fraudulent. I bought 4 hrs the first time for 600 baht, and found it ran out after using 1 hour. I bought another 4 hrs, immediately changed the password, and checked the usage after logging off after every session and then pulled out the ethernet cable. But still inbetween sessions and overnight the remaining time would decrease by 30 mins to one hr every time.

I stayed there for four nights, family of three adults and one child, aged 3, from 20 to 24 October. I booked through this agency and prepaid for two rooms -- we asked for connecting rooms, some weeks ago. On arrival a receptionist who claimed he was the senior person on duty (manager off on Saturday) told us the hotel is full and he had to "upgrade" us to a suite which had two king-sized bed stuck together, and a living room. But no, no bed was allowed in the living room. He kept repeating like a parrot, and quite rudely too, that he was upgrading us and we should accept. I explained it was not an upgrade -- he was just squeezing us into one bedroom. How could he expect us to sleep four people and thee genrations into wwhat amounts to one bed? He said then we could go to the sister hotel two kilometres away where they "might" have connecting rooms. Becausae of the long travel -- air from Hong Kong then the long drive into Pattaya by car, we were too tired to argue. We accepted under protest, and asked him to report this to the manager. We never heard from anyone. We found up after checiking in that except for the main block where he put us, some of the other blocks were closed for renovation, which explains while swimming there was like swimming in a pool of water in the middle of a construction site. We were never told the hotel was undergoing renovation and construction works were going on! Not reachable by public transport most of the time because it is at

The hotel couldn't have been in a better position. All hotel facilities were good. In fact, the general facilities were better than the room whcih looked like it needed updating. However, it was clean and tidy. A couple of language and attitude problems with the staff who seemed geared up for Russian guests rather than Brits. Otherwise it was a great stay right in the heart of Pattaya.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. I enjoy the quiet friendly atmosphere togther with the garden setting. The recepionist staff seemed less well versed in English than my last trip. The cost of the buffet dinner accross the road had dramatically increased in price. Perhaps this was the reason that the price was not advertised on entry as on previous occasions. I would definately stay here again.
