Ulf from Sweden stayed in a Deluxe garden view for 5 days.
Excellent service. Fantastic seaview from the 8th floor from a shaded balcony. The bathroom was however somewhat small as compared with all other excellent features in the hotel. The restaurants have excellent food and a close to perfect service. The hotel is situated in a calm surrounding but adjacent to the best shopping mall in Pattaya. It is walking distance to evening entertainment areas. I will recommend to choose Marriot for both business trips and relaxed spa vacation .

This is an excellent hotel where the staff are most friendly and attentive. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is close to the beach and has enclosed gardens. The gardens provide a calm oasis away from the urban sprawl of Pattaya. The staff made my stay most enjoyable.

Ran out of limo to book and wasted 90 min. of my time telling me that a car would be coming from a nearby hotel. In the end, had to settle for a minivan taxi after there was a no-show of the limo.

This place cost more than the Bangkok Marriott Hotel. Although I enjoyed my stay, I am not likely to stay there again due to the cost.

Excellent location near the action and the shopping mall. Lovely gardens. Delicious buffet breakfasts and lunches. I would have preferred if it was possible to get from my room to the other areas without getting soaked in the rain. Also, it was a bit hard carrying my luggage up and down steps on the ground level as they didn't have sloping ramps! I thought it a bit pricey.

Dipesh from Kenya stayed in a Deluxe garden view for 3 days.
I always stay in Mariott chain of hotels, i was very impressed by the way Hotel Travel handled the reservation and booking as this was the first time i was using this service... very professional and makes customer feels valued. To my experience Mariott rooms are big and they always have type of room i require - King size bed, but not in pattaya they gave me 2 single bed which was a dissapointment. Rooms were near the swimming pool, quite noisy. I would definately return to this hotel if they improve their customer requiremnets. Service :- Excellent :- That's Mariott

A good hotel. Small bathrooms and in the heart of the city. It has no private beach and can not swim in front of the hotel because the water is not safe for swimming.

Joseph from United States stayed in a Garden terrace for 7 days.
First time to Pattaya, I chose the Marriott because of my experience with their hotels and also it was recommended by a friend that had previously stayed.
Location is good an allowed me to walk to most of the places I wanted to see. There is a beach front entrance and the main one on the road parallel to the beach behind. There is a shopping mall attached to the hotel, there was much to do there during the times I didn't want to go far.
Rooms were clean but cramped, I had to adjust to sharing a small sink and counter in the bathroom with my travel companion. If a guest room with a larger bath were available, it would be worth the extra cost but I believe most rooms are the same.
The pool is quite something else. Be sure to find a good spot to relax and sun early because after my first look at the beach (not clean), I knew the pool at the hotel was where I would be most of the time.
There are few entrances into the water around the pool and these will usually be blocked by those that thoughtlessly move their lounge chairs into this prime territory for their own convenience. Don't forget to swim over to the pool bar, just don't try to walk there. Don't bother to bring cash, the room number works and it will just get wet in your suit.
Careful on the way to the bathrooms for the pool area, there is a steep and slipperly slope that is not flip flop friendly on down to the basement level. Book a room close on the ground floor and this won't be a problem.

Good location. The rooms are nice but the bathroom is tiny, which is just about the only criticism I have.
Thais celebrate Buddha’s birthday. Local Wats (Buddhist Temples) celebrate by holding candlelit processions. A tourist may take part in these parades and it can prove great fun.
