The Ambassador City is one of the world's largest resort hotels located on an area of approximately 40 acres of prime beachfront property on Thailand's east coast, overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Accommodation offers either ocean or garden views and although rated as 4 star, could learn a few lessons from other similarly rated hotels in the area, thus it's the room rates that count here and these prove competetive.

Rated #93 for all Pattaya hotels
A very nice and very big hotel unfortunately with only a few visitors. With a nice beach and with big swimming pools. The water in the pools could have been cleaner. ...

We left as soon as possible: rooms are dirty (some long black hairs remained in the bathroom etc...), equipment worn out, minibar empty, taps are leaking abundently, lobby staff unfriendly (land of smiles ??). Never again ! Note that this is for the "garden wing", I don't know about the other wings.

Definitely over priced. Lack of transport and very expensive by Hotel car. It would cost you 600 Bart for a return to the city for only 3 - 4 km distance. All rooms and restaurants are getting older and worn. A refurbishment must be made for the whole hotel, i believe.

We chose to leave. The place was huge, extremely uncosy, the room was worn down and smelled of mold. The huge restaurant reminded us of a bus station. I can not recommend this to anyone.
