We enjoyed our stay at the hotel as standards were high. The staff were helpful, polite and smart.
Although renovations were in progress, we were assured that noise levels would be kept to a minimum. This did happen and we were grateful.
However we would have appreciated a little warning that the workers were going to remove the scaffolding and had access to look in the room.Thankfully my husband spotted them, before I left the bathroom.No harm done.
Other than that, we were looked after and felt relaxed and refreshed upon leaving.

Its definitely one of the better hotels in Pattaya, but the full rate is just too much for the location. To get a more reasonable rate is a bit cumbersome, i.e. via Internet, but then talking with some Thai guests I discovered that they got even better prices. This whole dual pricing things in the hotel business should stop as when guests discover that they have paid more then others tend to avoid the hotel. Yes I know they all do it.

Our family rented two rooms for a day in Amari Orchid. I wished they had booked ajoining rooms but they had booked a seperate rooms. The hotel is beautiful with lovely garden, and the view of ocean. We loved the swimming pool and the playground and the location was terrific. The complementary breakfast buffet was one of the best so far. I wish the rooms were little bit larger though. The view to our room was not so hot since there were construction going on right in front of the window. The lounge at hotel was one of the best with long lounge chairs and breeze comming from ocean. We really enjoyed staying at Royal Orchid hotel.
