The hotel was in a good location, anyway Mae Hon Son is a very small town. Front desk was friendly and proactive in solving our booking problem. Room was good. Great place and recommended.

The air conditioning in the room worked very well. The room and bath were clean and adequate and looked out on a charming traditional courtyard. The bed and pillows were rather firm but OK. The hotel is 10 min walk from the center of town and the morning market, restaurants, 7-eleven. There are several local open-air restaurants within 2 min of the hotel. Only used the breakfast room, which provided a simple American breakfast of eggs, toast (white only) and bacon, ham or sausage. 10 min to airport by taxi.
Thais celebrate Buddha’s birthday. Local Wats (Buddhist Temples) celebrate by holding candlelit processions. A tourist may take part in these parades and it can prove great fun.
