We just loved to stay at Sunrise Tropical Resort and felt sad when we had to leave: the bungalow was modern and decorated with a good taste; made us feel almost at home. The tropical surroundings were well kept and gave privacy and a feeling of being close to nature. Location was good and the services well sufficient. Staff was extra friendly and made us feel welcome. We´ll be back for sure!...

Staff were friendly, service was excellent and the rooms very spacious and attractive. Surrounds were a little 'tired' and could do with a refurb.

We had a great stay - i read some bad reviews on Trip Advisor about the hotel but we thought it was brilliant. The villa was really nice, secluded location, the staff were all very smiley and friendly. We ate in the resaurant for 1 night and didn't get very good food so didn't eat there again but we may have just picked a busy night. It wouldn't stop me recommending the hotel to others as there are loads of other places to eat.

Beautiful location. The room was a nice size for our family of 3 - one being a 2 year old. The bathroom walls in the shower could have used a good scrubbing but it wasn't too bad. Other than the bathroom shower the room and grounds was very clean. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and had a delicious fish meal. The buffet breakfast was good but could have used a better selection of cooked foods. Overall we thought the location was wonderful and we had a good time.

Was better a few years ago.
There are better places to stay on, but it's still a fare location.

Sunrise Tropical Resort, Krabi great location, excellent service, the best food on that side of the beach, nice functional bungalows in a tropical setting. Some of the bungalow is total covered behind greeneries so make sure you get a bungalow with some daylight if you are coming from Scandinavia like we did.

While it's not on the side with the pretty sandy beach. You can walk to to the 2 sandy beaches in 5-10 minutes. It also is not near the noisy nightlife so you can sleep peacefully. Or walk to the nightlife in 5 minutes. It really was a great place to stay. And the outdoor shower is a nice plus.

Compared to other resorts and hotel at Railay we felt we had the best of all worlds: not top of the range - who wants that on this sort of beach holiday - and not a backpackers' shack. Our bungalow was extremely comfortable and would have rated an excellent except for some discoloration in the toilet bowl which was slightly off-putting. The room was very clean though, and beautifully decorated. The restaurant could do with some work - it tried to cater to too many tastes such as American and italian offerings rather than concentrating on good quality Thai food and seafood which is what we went to Thailand for. The setting is lovely so it is a shame the food is not more inspiring. But the location right at the dock and close to all the other fun bars and restaurants along the shore was a great plus. We could live in comfort and visit the inexpensive, popular eating places right next door. We would definitely go again as it represents value for money and was a very comfortable, friendly
