Lush hotel set in a "jungle type" ambience - boardwalks through the jungle to rooms. Large rooms. Pool average but adequate. Breakfast average but adequate. A few hundred metres to beach area and the main drag but OK - walking is good. Understated but very different and unusual - jungle almost envelopes hotel - jungle planting has been well thought out. TV reception very poor but who cares.

This is a wonderful hotel, set in a beautiful jungly location 5 minutes walk from the beach. The rooms are large, airy and well equipped, although the hanging space for clothes was a little limited. Each room has a lovely balcony, most looking over the jungly gardens or swimming pool. The restaurant at the hotel is fantastic with amazing food at sensible prices. Much better and cheaper than the beach front restaurants. If you are having an evening meal however, beware of the mosquitos despite having a mosi coil placed under your table - they are vicious! It is a very relaxing place to stay,with a lovely pool. The spa is a little on the pricy side.
