Pawanpreet from India stayed in a Superior for 2 days in September.
Its a perfect stay at this resort. Clean and no mosquitoes as said by some other reviews. Got many food outlets just outside the hotel gate. Pick up from room is provided up to the lobby and to the main gate too.

Although it's starting to show its age just a little (the interior design, furnishings and room amenities are not quite "up to the minute"), this hotel has lots of other good features to make up for that. In particular, the food is great across the board (especially the amazing breakfast buffet) and the service is truly exceptional (staff always anticipating needs, remembering little details and doing it all with a smile). It's a little way out of Ao Nang, but the hotel offers a nightly shuttle bus for only 200THB per person return (cheap) if you want to check out the shops, restaurants and bars. This hotel comes highly recommended overall.

A HotelTravel.com Member from United States stayed in a Superior for 3 days.
Thsi location is very remote, especially during low season, so I'm giving it a low score there. The beach is fine, but only go in during high tide and wear swimming shoes due ot the rocky bottom. The food is overpriced, go elsewhere. The breakfast is very good and includes everything you might want. The room was nice, but there is no need to pay for anthing above a superior room. Even superior rooms can have ocean view. Ocean view is actually higher up and won't have a view due to the trees. This resort has too much lawn - a real waste. There are also a lot of pine trees that drop very small, but sharp pine cones everywhere, making shoes necessary everywhere.
Thais celebrate Buddha’s birthday. Local Wats (Buddhist Temples) celebrate by holding candlelit processions. A tourist may take part in these parades and it can prove great fun.

Asanha Puja
Sees Thai Buddhists celebrating Buddhist lent, the full moon festival. One can view Buddhist temples throughout the year, but this tradition can be picturesque due to the activity of the saffron robed followers.
