Overall I must say, it was the wrong choice for a hotel at railey beach. the restaurant did not serve beer or wine to the dinner because of that reason. Additionally, the staff is very unfriendly. They just stand around and wait until you ask for something. No service, just waiting and talking to each other. The breakfast lunch buffet is served in a room which is half buffet, half warehouse. Very bad. And they obviously want to safe power. Each day between 1 and 4 pm the power was off. And if you pay with credit card, they ask you for a 3% fee.

Good location on the best Railey Beach. Some poor service and poor management. Breakfast was poor, and unusually for Thailand, some less than friendly service. There are better places now than Railey, such as Khao Lak

The deluxe accommodation more that met expectations and the location was ideal - right by the sea front and supplemented by the swimming pool. Muslim owned so no alcohol served in the restaurant. OK to take along your own, though. Major gripe was over the service in the restaurant. Service was very disappointing because it took so long from ordering to actually getting the food both at lunchtime and also in the evening. As a result we often ate elsewhere.

I stayed in one of the Delux air conditioned bungalows and found it to be excellent. Very clean and spacious, and set in a lovely tree lined walkway set back from the beach front. The hotel staff were very pleasent and helpful, the pool was a welcome escape when the beach got too hot, and the hotel tour agent was right on hand to arrange any day trips etc. The hotel food was OK (I only ate there once, but did hear a few bad reviews), however there are so many better places to eat just a few minutes stroll away you would be silly to spend your holiday eating at the hotel! (Break fast was great though, and all the hotels restaruants are situated on the beach front, with a bit of shade from trees and a great place to watch the sun set from). For me, the location was perfect. Railay Beach west is just beautiful, the beach is very large, with impressive limestone cliffs at either end of the bay. The sea is beautifully clear and the beach remains shallow for a long way out (I swam out for what I thought was about 1/3 of a mile, then found I could stand up!). Railay west has (I think) the nicer hotels and is really just a beach, most of the bars/restaurants/nightlife are on Railay east - but this is only a 100m walk across the narrow stirp of land which seperates the two coasts. Railay east doesn't really have much of a beach, just a thin strip of sand but that's not a problem as you just head over to the west side for the beach there. I will definately return to this plac

everything was fine except the shower. there was only burning hot or ice cold water coming out and also changing every half a minute without having adjusted the control.
