Tipa Resort is one of the best value hotels I have ever stayed in. The location is perfect for quick access to the beach, yet it has a real sense of peace and seclusion. My room had amazing views over the bay and I loved the simple stylish decor. The staff couldn't have been warmer or more helpful. I felt very much at home for the two weeks I stayed there and have every intention of returning next year. Thank you Tipa!

Bearing in mind the price,and the fact that our stay was in low season, this was an acceptable short break. Breakfasts were pretty awful, room cleanliness left something to be desired, and the mini TV provided very poor reception. We also suffered some power cuts, leaving us in total darkness until we asked for a candle ! Notwithstanding, all the staff were supremely helpful & cheerful, and we parted on good terms. Whilst we were there, we were warned of an imminent Tsunami drill, regrettably, however, we saw & heard nothing !

The room itself is value-for-money. However, no double bed is provided in the bungalow room. Only two adjacent single beds together as a double bed. For the price, it is obviously a good choice and I will return to this resort later if I visit Krabi again.
