This hotel was such a wonderful surprise: We were stuck in Krabi with no hotel, called HotelTravel and asked the lady who picked up the phone to book a hotel for us urgently and have them come pick us up from the local 711. She chose the Maritime and their van came to pick us up. We got there at night so it was dark and we didn't see exactly where we were. In the morning, when we looked out of the window, we couldn't believe our luck: This place is a piece of Heaven : ) One of the most beautiful places we came across, no doubt. ...

Not an ideal hotel for what tourist go to Krabi for!! It is also too deserted and old although the facilities are still well maintained. To be in a hotel with so low occupancy is rather depressing.

We will not go back there. The resort as a place is beautiful, but the staff manage to ruin your chances of enjoying it. We were 2 couples and we specifically asked in advance for our rooms NOT to be connected and to have double beds and not twin beds in them. When we checked in, we found out we got exactly the opposite: 2 coonected rooms. When we asked to switch, we got rooms with twin beds. The other couple gave up and took it. We were moved to another room, with a double bed and not connected to the other couple's, but we were downgraded to a much smaller room. The staff was unfriendly, unhelpful, unsmiling and, I suspect, also untruthful. The waitors were unprofessional and did not speak good English.

positive: friendly staff, family friendly environment, travel agent on site, negative: overpriced even for peak season with rip off for mandatory New Year's Eve event, wireless service only in lobby (no lan or wireless internet in rooms!), too far away from beaches (very restrictive shuttle service to Ao Nang), no safety box in rooms, tv reception in rooms bad. in general, only for families/couples, definitely not for singles

The hotel advertised itself as the best in Krabi, I found it to be in need of refubishment, the reception staff unfriendly. I ended up leaving two days early
