"When we arrived, we were delighted to find that we were allocated a pool access room that also has a private corner with jacuzzi outside the balcony. Boasting the nicest and biggest swimming pool in all of Ao Nang as claimed, the hotel was exactly as portrayed on its website. The room was spacious and comfortably appointed, and we enjoyed the variety of satellite TV channels available. Breakfast was at the restaurant by the pool and the buffet spread was rather scrumptious. There was even a coffee machine for guests. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel's tour counter is a good place to get info and book day tours. Situated at the quiet end of Ao Nang, the hotel is just across the beach. Turn right and walk for 15-20mins and you'll hit Noppharat beach. It is approximately 10-15mins' walk to the main shopping stretch of Ao Nang, as well as to the area where longtail boats leave for Railey. And just outside the hotel, there is an outdoor dining area (only open at night), with several stalls serving cheap and delicious local fare. We had a great stay at Krabi La Playa."
