This was our 2nd stay at the Kacha resort. We love it! It's a family friendly place, and our kids love the (small) waterslides into the pools. There are 2 pools, one beachside and one across the street in the hillside wing. It's almost as if the hotel has been built in 3 phases, one with rustic looking bungalows, one with a building and villas, and the one across the street is the hillside wing is the newest and most modern looking. We stayed in the building on the beachside, but our kids preferred the pool in the hillside. The beach is nice, very shallow, nice for swimming, but some areas..

The place is very nice, one drawback though is that the "building/hotel" is on the other side of the road away from the beach whereas, the bungalows are next to the beach but they are smaller unless you get the family villas. all in all, a nice time spent on the island but its expensive compared to the mainland - went for a trip down to the pier where they have a market and some nice restaurants.

We love White Sand Beach with all the great seafood BBQ's and a great supermarket, and it's family friendly (not many sleazy bars around). The taxi trucks go up and down the road, so it is easy to travel around the island. We will be back.

I stayed for 4 nights in all with my family , 2 x small villa , which where old and dark by the pool, all the sunbeds had been reserved by our german , swedish and russian friends by 8am and would also go for 3 to 4 hour lunches.We ended up to opt for the newer Hillside part of the Hotel to a family room , much much better. bigger pool and didnt have to put a towel on a sunbed to reserve it . Much better rooms by far more modern , would recommend the Hillside but not the Mosquito infested Beach side.

Hotel is very conveniently located with lots of restaurants near by. Rooms are getting a little old and could do with refurbishment (our room smelled very stale). Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is almost impossible to get a chair at the pool, far too crowded, but the beach is just a few steps away and wonderful. We liked our stay and would come back if we go to Koh Chang again.

This was our third time in Koh Chang Kacha and whenever we go to Koh Chang island, Koh Chang Kacha resort is always the first resort we try to book, because you have to be very quickly as it is a very popular resort. The staff is great, excellent variety in breakfast food, straight on the white sand beach, 2 fantastic swimming pools, the new hillside rooms are very large, clean, modern, comfortable and classy. We felt like millionairs when we stayed there.

My husband and I came for 4 days and wished we could stay longer.The hotel is situated on a beautiful beach the sea is so clean that you can see the bottom. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool and the room was a good size ( not fancy but then you come for the beach not to stay in the room).The restaurant has a big variety of meals at very reasonable prices.We are planing to visit this hotel again in the near future.

Great looking bongolows,pool restaurant and beach. My room did not have an ocean view, but was an upper bongolow with a deck, at night you can sit, sip a drink and listen to the sound or the jungle. Remember that this is an island beach in the front, jungle in the back.

I stayed in the deluxe building. The view of the pool and ocean was very nice over from the bed or balcony. The location of the hotel was very convenient. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. I would go back to it.
Thais celebrate Buddha’s birthday. Local Wats (Buddhist Temples) celebrate by holding candlelit processions. A tourist may take part in these parades and it can prove great fun.
