the room is very clean, bathroom is beautiful and big ,but there have many mosquitoes

This is a very nice hotel, ideally suited to couples on honeymoon who want some privacy in a beautiful setting. The hotel is situated right on the beach and lonely beach is as good as described in LP. The restaurant is a little pricey, but the breakfast (included) in the morning was very good. The swimming pool was excellent. If you want to explore Koh Chang this probably isn't the best situated hotel. Taxi's outside the hotel are not that frequent, so be prepared to hire a moped. It takes about 20/25mins to get to Whitesand beach by moped (even slower by taxi). Be aware that the road is very hilly around Bhumiyama, we also saw a few accidents during the 4 days we were on the island! There are a few bars and places to eat in walking distance along the beach, but the selection is not that great, but the food and drink prices were very cheap.

During the first few nights in the resort (we booked the most expensive bungalow!) the neighbour resort organised houseparties with an extremely high noise level and lasting sometimes until 3 a.m. It was imposlsible to sleep. As soon as another bungalow was available we moved into a more quiet area and had a couple of more pleasant nights. New guests were shown into the bungalow we left and had the same bad experience. This was not the experience we had in mind when we booked a stay in this resort! Our complaints about the terrible noise during the night were not handled adequately. The information about what to do was very poor. During the first week of our stay a great number of guests, young and elderly alike, became sick (vomit etc.), it took about 2 days to recover. The conclusion was that there was something wrong with the breakfast as everybody took this meal, though we of course do not know this for sure. It is clear however that something was absolutely wrong, such things should not happen. The tap in the bathroom in the first as well as in the second bungalow provided a miserable quantity. The outdoor bathroom is a nice idea but very unnpleasant with rainy weather, especially at night. The garden was nice and well maintained. The swimming pools clean and nice, towel service very good.
