The hotel was as said excellent. The room was very nice, with a beautiful view at the see. There was a big balcony to sit. It was very clean and with beautiful things in it. There was also a watercooker and coffee en tea. The restaurant was very good en also with a beutiful view at the see. The swimming pool was not very large. The people of the hotel were very nice and helpfull. We hope to come back again at this place. ...

the resort is built on the side of a cliff. about 100 feet from road to the beach, accomodation is about half way. lots of steps to traverse but i did receive help with my luggage. the beach is about a further 300 feet of undulating concrete steps culminating in a 7ft. rotten bamboo very makeshift footbridge. i went through this on my first return visit to the beach. i was very lucky not to sustain serious injury and escaped with minor cuts and contusions to my leg. the view from the hotel resturant was very good though! the poor beach access would put me of staying there again. the staff were friendly enough but spoke only limited english

Very friendly helpful staff. Bit of a walk to the beach, but this was ok for us even with young kids. Worth it to stay in the jungle with great views. Small rooms but good value and comfy beds. Beach very clean and fun with kids. Better than Railey and Samui. Good breakfast. Very happy stay for us.

Resort was located a little away from the stretch of resort that was located directlt on Khao Lak beach. Although located on a hilllock, there is a stairway that leads down to a small stretch of beach which is completely desoleted, away from the crowd. Getting to the town is easy via taxi but walking under the hot afternoon sun to and from the resort to the town is energy sapping.

Beautiful views of the Andaman Sea and sunsets! Renting a motorbike in town is your best bet if you want to enjoy the area. they need more of a concierge service. friendly but quiet staff that will help if they can. they are familiar with their tour packages but not others. they do not offer tour brochures about the area but there are many places in town where you can get them.
rooms were spacious and clean with excellent view. quiet resort but beach access and a pool. they offer free internet on their computer- nice touch. no wireless.
this is not a resort where you will be waited on and pampered. things are there for you if you ask but you must take initiative.

Hotel has an excellent view of the bay. The all wood cabins are cosy and comfortable.
La On village where all the shops and restaurants are is 2km away, a nice walk in the evenings but very hot at most day times.
