"We travelled from Hua Hin and we were surprised to find it was about 70 klms out of Kanchanaburi. Our driver had trouble finding it. It is a short long tail boat ride which is free. The hotel management prefer to not to have things booked to your room. They prefer to deal in cash. You need to organise transport to get to an ATM but sometimes it does not work. It does pose a problem because this hotel does not accept credit cards. It is well worth the trip. It is luxury in the jungle. You do feel you have escaped from it all! Good food and service. Would definitely go again. "

"Would be nice to put in the description that hotel is to be reached by boat (provided by hotel) only (no problem, pleasant surprise for me but unfortunate for less mobile, older people) and that no other facilities are close (ATM, shops etc). However pretty much is provided by hotel, good food, mon dancing, spa etc etc. More than worth the money, you feel like staying in the jungle ..... in a luxurious way! Only the guy at the poolbar was very slow .... but fruitpunches worth waiting for! "
