River Kwai Jungle Rafts

"This was the highlight of our holiday but it is just a pity that we only spent one night there. While the facilities may be very basic it is the experience that you will remember.The staff were more than helpful and were able to help with our tour plans for the next day. It will make you realise how lucky you are. The only criticism would be of the map that is used by HotelTravel to show the hotels location in relation to Kanchanaburi.The hotel is actually located 60 kms. by road and then a 30 minute river boat ride away from the town but it was still worth the journey to get there. "

"What can i say?!-the highlight hotel on our trip- very very special and unique! the only way to get to this hotel is by long tail boat- a 15 minutes ride. A very pleasant welcoming hotel, the staff (local tribe) will do everything to make your stay a good one. 2 major things you have to know- no electricity (only lamps) and you need to order a boat that will pick you up from the Resotel pier.each ride (back and forth) costs 700 bahts and it is not included in room rate! There is actually nothing to DO on the raft, we stayed there 2 nights only for dinner-sleep-breakfast and traveled during the day around the Kwai area. The food was greate and the rooms were very clean. Enjoy!! and dont tell too many people about this unique hotel....."
