Swiming pool, gardens and beach area best in Hua Hin by far. Breakfast and other casual restuarants excellent, only thing to be improved was housekeeping which was a bit slack and needs improving.

The stay was absolutely fantastic, except our last day at the hotel (the checkout-day). We stayed at their best room for almost two weeks and pay for top service! Then, when I ask for a delayed checkout, one hour would have been enough, that is completely impossible. Anantara is the first hotel to deny this in my entire life and I've stayed at a lot of hotels. Then, when I ask for somewhere to change at get a shower before heading to Bangkok Airport and back to Norway, I get a dirty room where someone has just checked out. No clean towels, untidy room and a dirty shower. That was not what I expected from a hotel like this. All I wanted was a cubicle and fresh towels. And I have to say that the food outlets, especially the restaurant and their offers, are rather poor. They only offer European food, but we want Thai when we come to Thailand. In the end I have to say that the resort, the hotel, the spa and the staff are all fantastic. We had a great stay!

A lack of enclosed air conditioned areas.Biting insects were a problem. Staff in every area were outstanding and made our holiday experience one we would like to repeat.

A good quality resort style hotel next to the beach. Be prepared to travel 10 minutes to get to Hua Hin center but regular courtesy bus and taxi's availlable. Nice beach but beware jelly fish in this area, so not best for swimmers. Standard rooms are small so opt for a lagoon room which are much larger and in another part of the reasort close to the spa.
