We stayed 8 days at Evason Hua Hin,this is my second time returned here.
Evason is located at Pranburi, 20~30min. drive south of Hua Hin downtown.This area is real country, very quiet and local.Locals are very friendly but obviously very interested in the local.Some nice interest place can to visit around there.
Many eating local food out places,and have Tescos Express,7-11, local shop,market... in the fishing village town, but need to drive 5min. from Hotel.
You can find motor rental shop on the beach road, scooter per day 150~200Baht
Here is a wonderful place for vacation.Hotel free..

Evason Hua Hin & Six Senses Spa (Formerly Club Resort Hotel Siam) is located at Pranburi, a short 20 mins drive south of Hua Hin town. Hua Hin itself is located approximately 200 kms. southwest of Bangkok. Recently upgraded highways provide for a leisurely 3 hour drive to this, Thailand's oldest beach resort area.

The Six Senses resort at Hua Hin is a real treat of an hotel - the duplex villa accommodation was first class, the hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained and the quality of the breakfast (not to mention the setting!) was particularly impressive. Although Pran Buri is not particularly close to Hua Hin (about 30-35 minute drive) it is a much nicer little area and, although much quieter, does have plenty of little restaurants and a village within a five minute walk of the hotel. All in all a fantastic place to stay for few days!

Stayed 6 nights in late June 2010, a time when tourism was heavily down following well publicised problems in Thailand. Accom was a Pool Villa which was perfect, tumbling straight out of bed into your own private pool. Whilst there seemed to be other guests present at the breakfast buffet (because it was inclusive?), evening meals were often very private affairs, with the busiest night having maybe only 2 other groups of diners. Fair play to the hotel for keeping all restaurants open in the face of such light business. Food was always very good and the all staff were very polite and attentive, although this is much easier when you have so few guests. No complaints and absolutely served its purpose as a quiet retreat to chill for a week.

Great place to go to if you are looking for a quiet and serene place to destress, relax and recharge and that is also away from the hustle and bustle of city life and prepared to just stay there and not go anywhere for the next few days because its pretty faraway from the town area where all the shopping and really good local food are located.

Friendly and helpful staff, including the butler (one for each block of rooms).
Quite a distance from Hua Hin town (35 to 40 mins by car/van). But because of that, the surroundings were quite quiet and peaceful, which was what my wife and I wanted. For a resort of this quality, the price was quite good value (especially as I was told upon check-in that I am given a room that is bigger than what I booked for).

Excellent resort, staff are very helpful and friendly. The distance from Hua Hin can limit your options for meals, we ate at both the resort and local beachfront places(much cheaper). Check out the special offers from the desk near your room as they have some excellent deals on meals, drinks and treatments. We didn't read it until we were checking out and were really disappointed to have missed them, would have made our stay even better.

Thais celebrate Buddha’s birthday. Local Wats (Buddhist Temples) celebrate by holding candlelit processions. A tourist may take part in these parades and it can prove great fun.
