There were only 3 things that could have been better, two of them easily fixable:
1. the airconditioning/fan was too noisy; could be changed by installing newer models;
2. the door between the kitchens allows too much noise between the villas;
3. it is unfortunate that a - much driven - road cuts the area between the main resort (pool/restaurant) area from the beach that is solely used by the hotel guests

Thais celebrate Buddha’s birthday. Local Wats (Buddhist Temples) celebrate by holding candlelit processions. A tourist may take part in these parades and it can prove great fun.
