This hotel is only recommended for those wishing to be far from everything (Hua Hin centre is 20 minutes by bus) and looking for a quite basic accomodation. At the breakfast buffet you'll find a small selection of cheap western-style food and some Asian dishes. Furthermore, you'll stay with several hundreds (!) of fellow tourists making it difficult to find space at the poolside. Walking around is not recommended, except at the large beach which is dominated by ugly condominiums and unfinished (January 2008) buildings. All in all, don't go there unless you don't care for where you are staying whilst in holidays. At least we were quite disappointed and will definitely not stay there again.

Breakfast was normal like other three star hotel, but if you stay longer it’s boring. They don’t change it at all. We have three deluxe rooms (6 person); I think all rooms in Chom View Hotel are standard level. There is nothing special in deluxe room. Furniture in room and other place was old and not good condition. For high humidity, wooden parts rot and smell in room and some place of hotel was awful. Air condition noise was too high. You can’t adjust the fan speed enough low. Hotel and pool located near the sea; that’s good. Pool and pool bar facilities was old and poor. Hotel needs full decorations. Every day you can find dead jellyfish on the beach; but it was not big problem for swimming. It takes only 5-10 min to go to Hua Hin; hotel bus (30 THB/person) or TucTuc (120-150 THB/one way/1-6 person). Location is good.

If you prefer a quiet beach location and with family this is a great place to be in...we were in a garden suite which was very comfortable...to reach the Hua Hin city centre need to pay 100 bhat each time..wuld be nice if the hotel could provide complimentary transfer to city centre once/twice a day as not very far but a great value add.

Great hotel. Larger and better than we expected for the price - great value. A long walk along the beach to town but handy shuttle bus was provided. Great friendly service. The only issue was our toilet systern was leaking water all over the bathroom floor and although we notified staff this was not fixed during our stay.

The access to the hotel is awful through lots of garbage and waste. The room is average and the bath-room far below. The staff is very friendly, please send a thank you to the nice librarian

My Thai girl friend and her two university daughters and I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom Garden Suites Very nice. Will stay again. There is no view from the Garden Suites of the sea, but it is only a short 100' walk to the pool and beach. Very nice pool and beach area. The breakfast was ok, not great, but very acceptable. Very good value for the money. The only little draw back was finding the hotel the first time. The signs are not very visable.

Lack of a beach right in front of the hotel, but the swimming pool area is immediately parallel to the beach.

Rooms are getting a bit dated. Hotel nice and quiet away from main town area with very nice beach.

Very inexpensive hotel that offers good value if you are not seeking the frills of a 4 or 5 star hotel. A little out of town and therefore not the most convenient location but still only 10 mins from town. Beach side pool area is good. Rooms are acceptable. Small bathroom and limited TV channels (not suitable for someone who wants to keep up with sport and news whilst abroad). Beds a little uncomfortable. Only issue is restuarant. Breakfast is poor and generally you will be better eating out of the hotel.

Good service and a clean, tidy hotel. I was disappointed with the location. The hotel photo is misleading. My room, a deluxe room, faced a blank wall 25 metres away, not the sea view I had expected. Only large, family suites face the sea and lap pool shown in the photo, my room, a 'deluxe' room, was located in the main hotel, 100 metres behind a high-rise apartment block. Also there were some problems with the aircon in the rooms. I moved rooms to find aircon that worked satisfactorily.

The hotel is about 4 km from Hua Hin centre. But the staff is bad in assisting about price for Tuk Tuk or taxi. Claim they have 1 Internet connected computer in the library, but it never worked during my week there... Slow staff in the reception, cleaning staff great.

Super friendly staff and an excellent service. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were outstanding and the quality of the food superb and very reasonably priced. The apartments on the beachfront are uniquely positioned with a beautiful and large lap pool and right on the child and family friendly beach. If you are looking for a family friendly hotel in a quiet location with authentic Thai food and outstanding service, look no further. Strong recommendation!
