The hotel could be rated better if only it had not 2 serious problems. The location is near the road and so you have to tolerate the traffic noise from the pool. Second issue is the works of a nearby building in progress. You can hear heavy noise from your room and this can ruin your holiday. Sorry to say to stay away from this hotel because the rooms and the general environment is nice. The room quality deserves a "good rating" but the noise downgrade it.Helpful and nice staff. Main road nearby, traffic noise all day long. Children pool very small and not clean. baby cot poor, no bed linen provided

Very bad experience with the Hotel Manager. No help fro her site - and especially the way she were talking about the staff was bad. The staffs (except one) were not expert in English but anyway very helpful.

The room was friendly furnished and clean, to the beach it was just a little distance to walk, the breakfast was ok But there was a building lot next to our room and the noise was quite disturbing.

Nice, small hotel. Very little storage space in room, had to live out of suitcase, so would only recommend it for a few nights, any longer and it would be a bind.

I stayed in 3 different hotels during my stay in Thailand and Casa Del Mare was by far the best. The room was very well prepared and it was very relaxing. Pretty close to the beach but you have to take a taxi to get to the bar and restaurant area of Hau Hin.

October 2006 Casa del Mare is a Balinese style boutique hotel on the outskirts of Hua Hin. Looks even better than on the internet pictures. Great swimming pool. Cool decor in rooms, but no drawers, so everything in the open. Smiling, efficient staff. Fair breakfast, some things got a bit cool for late risers. Only major disappointment being high cost of laundry which takes two days to get done, unheard of!! Fair price for room, most hotels in Hua Hin being generally higher all round. 20 minute walk to first major shopping centre, local taxis out the front, or waiting near car park. Hua Hin in general has great shopping, massaging, eating, especially night market[the long street one], and is quite a clean town.

Elegant and sophisticated. Excellent smal/medium boutique hotel. Staff efficient and pleasant. Food better than adeqauate. Rooms clean and modern minimalist. Great pool. 200 metres to excellent beach down lane. 5 minutes by local taxi to shops/market. Large night market has great shopping and eating. Hua Hin is remarkedly clean, and feels very safe. Old part of town has many lovely lanes with modern shops. Plenty of massage and pampering for the ladies. Golfing a bit expensive due to only having 6 or 7 courses nearby.

We stayed for 6 days and had a very good time. The staff were very good particularly the security guards. Breakfast could be improved, not a great choice and butter, fruit and fruit juice etc. in direct sunlight. Location was quiet and a short taxi ride into Hua Hin centre (100 bt).
