Rated #8 for all Hua Hin hotels
The staff were really prompt in their service, always smiling and accomodating. The only thing that really needs improving is the food. The prawns were not fresh and food was so-so. But on the whole, we had a fantastic stay and had a great time. It's an ideal getaway hideout - not a stone's throw from shopping but we could still get to Hua Hin central for shopping just by taking a 30 min-drive. The beach was fantastic and the Thai massage was just heavenly. The one most important thing was that we felt safe in the resort and really felt that we were taken good care of. This resort is ideal for couples who love suntanning and fishing. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. One more thing that may need improvement is for the hotel to consider providing transfer services from Bangkok airport, for travellers coming in from Singapore - we had to book our own transfer which was the expensive bit.The room is really nicely decorated. The sea view was slightly blocked by trees but we know it was for our privacy, since the resort is just next to a road and has no high fences.

Lovely staff, friendly, attentive, discreet. Very nice pool, close to beach. Beautiful room, huge bed, very firm mattress. Immaculately clean. Sound-proofing good, except between adjoining rooms. Good food, wide menu choice, prompt service. Will probably go back.

The Hotel room was clean and nicely furnished. The staffs were friendly, though a little shaky in English. The restaurant had a wide choice of Thai and Western food and every food we had was very good. The hotel will be a nice, cozy hide-away place for people who want to enjoy a quiet, isolated atmosphere. There were no shops, restaurants or hotels nearby and it was quite far from Bangkok Airport, 4 hours drive. The hotel HP mentions that there is "free shuttle bus service to Hua Hin" and that was one of the reasons I picked this hotel, but it turned out that the service was only 2-3 days a week with very limited time schedule and was free only during high-seasons. It would be better if there were more English channels on TV. (aus Japan)

This is a perfect place to relax. There are no bars or restaurants directly next to the resort, which makes it a peaceful place to stay. It is generally an area where Thai's tend to holiday so there is not tourists shops or people hasseling you to get into taxis. There is a beach right next to the resort that is clean and deserted. The actual resort has areally nice pool. The staff are amazing and will help you with any requests. A great place to chiil out.

Rooms are spacious with nice attention to detail. TV only has a few English language channels, but is otherwise okay. Batroom is clean and well presented. Only thing lacking is a room safe, but valuables can be stored in a safe at the front desk. This hotel is great value for money and is ideal if you simply want to get away from it all and stay somewhere quiet and secluded. While the beach is not as good as you'll find further south in Thailand, it is very good considering its proximity to Bangkok. With soft, clean sand and shallow water it is ideal for families. Without a car it might be quite difficult to go very far afield from the hotel (you'd need to relay on hotel transportation and organised trips) but within walking distance of the hotel are plenty of great, authentic Thai restaurants. The whole place feels very 'Thai' and so far has avoided the mass tourism of most of Thailand's beach resorts. The Bacchus Home Resort is a new hotel so is in very good condition - spacious, clean rooms with cable TV and a lovely big swimming pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast is also very good - whether you choose the Thai or western option.
