Rated #10 for all Chiang Rai hotels
the facilities are very good and it is a great place to stay if you are playing golf at the Santiburi course because it is only about 15 minutes away. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel is just a short walk to the night bazaar. There are always a few friendly tuk tuk drivers outside the hotel to take you any where. I always stay at the Wiang Inn when I am in Chiang Rai....

Although we have stayed at this hotel several times before there was no recognition of this by the hotel whom despite the very low occupancy, gave us a room at the furthest point from the lifts. Also as we were apparently staying in a de-luxe room I can only wonder what the standard room would be like.
We will not use this hotel again.

I cancelled this booking directly with the hotel as my plans changed, but I'm currently staying at this hotel and I'm quite pleased after the first night. My room faced the bus station and there were regular announcements until it closed, but it wasn't so awful that I had to request a room change.

Its a good hotel, compared to the alternatives. I've stayed at most in ChiangRai. This hotel is good in terms of proximity to the city centre and marketplace. I would recommend it to anyone visiting ChiangRai.

Good location, but the rooms average at best. Room furnishings were old, and also smelled that way. Best thing about the hotel was 1/2 block from the night market. I've stayed at MUCH better hotels for the same price in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. This hotel was barely passible in cleanliness and upkeep.

The hotel is situated set back from the main road, thus quiet. Nevertheless, it is just a short walk to the famous Night Bazaar and to numerous restaurants and shops. The room was of reasonable size and well equipped, although the TV featured too few English-language channels. The room service menu was extensive and delivery prompt. The restaurant on the lobby floor had a menu that was only marginally more extensive, but featured some northern Thai specialties. The food was reasonably tasty. The buffet breakfast, on the other hand, was awful and carelessly prepared; greasy bacon, cold scrambled eggs. At least they served some real, brewed coffee. There is a grossly overpriced lobby bar better to be avoided not only for the steep prices but also for the annoying pianist crooning Elvis love ballads and going on everybody's nerves. Reception and concierge staff were friendly and helpful. A food choice of a hotel while in Chiang Rai, partcularly with keeping the favourable price/service ratio in mind. There is a small German-run bar-cum-restaurant ("Funny Bar" just right opposite of the hotel serving cheap drinks and some tasty German fare. Night owls, please note!

The hotel is ideally located in the middle of the town and just a few minutes walk to the night bazaar and also close vicinity to some of the famous temples in town. The hotel looks new and clean, furthermore, the hospitality of the staffs is second to none. I am sure that i will stay here again in my next visit. Perhaps the hotel should provide airport pick up.

This hotel is completely acceptable but not at all remarkable. The pool is large but is situated so that it is mostly in the shade, an unusual feature.
